IPhone 6 Plus :: Gets Very Hot When Use It For More Than 5 Minutes
Dec 11, 2014
I was using my iPhone 6 Plus to read a book while on a transatlantic flight yesterday. It got very very warm, almost too hot to hold. Is this normal? I was worried about the safety of the phone/phone battery getting too hot on an airplane.Â
I have a problem with my touch screen. It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(( when touch screen stops working, all keys work correctly, home key & others )
My uncle and his wife recently got the two new iphones. They gave me their old iphones (3gs) but they dont have any service on them. And i dont want to go through a contract with another phone company. So i was wondering if its possible to buy minutes (Pay As you Go) and put it on my iphone and make it work
My iPhone 3G gets warm/hot after a few minutes of use, anyone else? im talking about just scrolling thru springboard apps and checking your text then locking your phone, and repeating this again a lil bit afterwards.
I've had two Facetime sessions with my daughter so far. OLAM only show 1 minute each and they were about 20 minutes long. So I'm wondering if Facetime uses wifi for both voice and video or if OLAM has not caught up yet.
My sister gave me her iphone and it was working fine up until 2 days ago. Now it has started acting weird and turns itself off and on every 5mins!! and I the time it stays on is getting shorter even with it plugged in. What can I do?
Since January I have had srious problems with my Iphone 3GS. Without any warning the screen goes blank, but when I look closely there is a broad darker band running down the whole length of the screen. I am only able to take a maximum of 2-3 photos and if I try to connect to the web 3 minutes usage time is the maximum. I then connect the phone (if I am able) to a power supply and after the apple logo appears, it is followed by a battery symbol showing almost zero power. This is shortly followed by the audible sound that the phone makes as it picks up the power and the battery symnbol immediately reverts back to the status it was before the 'shutdown', this morning it was 83%. Also when i switch on the phone, the battery symbolin the top right hand corner is not green, it is white. I have taken the phone back to a brand-new phone & shut down location services, push notifications, backlight etc...but this awful situation continues!!
As my phone is not on contract and is nearly 2 and a half years old I feel that Apple have me by the proverbial 'short and curlies'. My iPhone is used on a daily basis and I must admit that I am lost without the reliabilty of it's functions. I also feel that for the cost of the phone, the battery should surely have a longer life!
I would be willing to have the battery renewed if I thought that it was failing, but is it, or habe Apple dropped a clanger and it is a software fault that they are unwillinmg to disclose, due to the backlash from it's customer base and the possible loss of future sales. As I was in the market for a desktop this summer, that is a substansial lossin sales from this one customer alone!
i'm interested in knowing if you waste minutes while using facetime, since is gonna be thru Wi-Fi.International call charges? (if using facetime with someone outside the usa).
Up to this weekend everything worked just fine. All my mails appeared in my Outlook 2010 as well as on my iPhone 4S, at home as well as on the go. Since Friday my mails started disappearing from my iPhone after having been displayed without any traces. If I wasn't aware of the mails they even disappeared before I could open them. I was not aware of any changes I might have made.
I recently bought an iphone 4s. When I'm talking on it wheather its on internal ear speaker or external speaker or blue tooth I loose the ability to hear what the other party is saying. They can still hear me. Is there something wrong with my phone or is it a bad OS system?
So ya know how every few minutes your iPhone lock automatically? How can I change that?? I've done before on my iPod but I can't figure it out on my phone.
My iphone just vibrate for a 3 minutes or so then it just turn off then. It seems cant able to turn it on, charge even itunes cant detect it. What wrong with it ?
all applications, even those of the system, crash after a few minutes of use. I did several times to restore with backup. In addition, the battery consumption is very high.
My Iphone 4s keep on reboot every 2-3 minutes, iOS Version = 7.1.2, any solutions for this? No matter it's running an app or idle mode, it will keep on reboot. What causing it, this problem just suddenly come. I even erase all and reset all setting.
Over the past week my iPhone 4s screen shows a stripey (similar to a barcode) screen when switched on. It seems to correct itself but often freezes for a several minutes. I have only had it five months, not dropped it or got it wet.
I'm having audio issues with my 3gs when bluetooth is turned on. I'm running 3.1.2 and jailbroken. My BT device is a Jabra Stone.
When in the car I connect my 3GS to the car and let my headunit control the audio. After about five minutes of playing music the music will stop playing from the car and start playing through the BT earpiece. I can still control the play functions through the car's headunit. If I turn off the headset the audio returns to the car speakers. I can't find a setting on the phone to NOT play music through BT.
On all my Windows Mobile phones in the past you could select which services to associate with BT. Seems with the Iphone it is all or none. Anyone know a workaround?
I check my mails several times a day like the most of you, all of a sudden my iphone 4 decided that I can only do that once after I start the app ??!? If I want to check again 1 minute after and the app is "open" it takes ages (about 2 minutes) before it actually checks the server ?? It's like a 2 minutes delay...
However, if I close the app and open to check again.... it's no problem. So basically I have to close the app (by double clicking the home button) EVERYTIME to be able to check my mails.... isn't that strange ?
I bought this iphone a month ago and the battery was fine for the first few weeks. Now it seems to be draining faster. I've turned off all the settings that save battery life, i've restored and set up as new, i've reset all settings, i've tried calibrating the battery i've tried EVERYTHING!
I left my iPhone on the table and I came back in about 30 minutes later to find it in direct sunlight, will this damage the iPhone in any shape, way, or form? For example, the display, battery, etc.?
