when I open the phone pad , by mistake sometimes press on voicemail icon , and this happen also when I was aboard , so that will cost too much money calling the voicemail provider.
Im searching a way to remove the voicemail number from my iphone so if by mistake I press the voicemail icon it will not make a call. so either a way to change the voicemail ( dialing number ) or a way to stop this icon dialing my provider.
My phone rings more than 10+ times before rolling to voicemail. How do I set the number of rings I want? I am missing calls as callers will not wait through through so many rings to get to vm if I am unable to pick up the call.
wondering if someone can help. here is a quick breakdown of events. received my new iphone 4 yesterday. went to store to have number ported. since i live in vegas and i have an ohio number, they had to switch the temporary las vegas number to a temporary ohio number and then had my number ported.
everything works fine except i am unable to use the visual voicemail. it says voicemail unavailable, unable to connect, when i try to log on.
Also, when i make facetime calls, my number shows up on the other persons caller id as the las vegas temporary number and not my actual number.
tried calling carrier last night, they were unable to help, so i have no idea what to do?
Trying to reset to factory setting for a start over and I have no idea what the password is. I have never made one, so it must be the factory default setting, right? If so, what may it be?
MY iMessage has to phone numbers. it has my own and it also has someone elses? How do i remove the other number? Somebody receives the texts that i receive as well.
Blackberry Bold 9700, using TMobile, but I don't have the Blackberry service. (Ended up getting the Blackberry because it was a free promotion at the time.) I used visual voicemail early on with no issue, but ever since I updated software to version 6.0, my voicemail in general has all but stopped working. Ever since I downloaded software version 6.0 I have had this problem: I receive notification when people call, but I never receive their voicemail unless I periodically remove and replace my battery to reboot my phone. Upon rebooting, I will receive all voicemails that have been left for me since the last time I rebooted. I have called TMobile several times, but they just keep telling me that the settings are all good I have tried going into the stores for advice, but they don't have any answers either.
I need instructions on how to change the MIN & MDN numbers for my carrier. They are preset in the X2 and I don't how how to delete or override the existing number.
I tried changing it from the *86 to *86# just to see what would happen, and sure enough, it worked. So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. I tried opening the dialer, going to settings, voicemail, and changing it from there, but it still didn't work
Is it possible to remove visual voicemails from my message inbox? I prefer having the VVM icon on my home screen so I can quickly look at my messages. Getting a second VVM notification in my inbox is annoying.
i wanna knw how to find the voicemail access number.....m gettin a voicemail symbol on the screen n when i try to check the voice mail i get a text saying "the phone number to accessyour mail has not been set. if u know the number, enter it now. phone number:
I've tried to set a voicemail number on my phone, but it will not save.
I've tried going to Voicemail > Setup > Voicemail Number, entered the number (1416) and then clicked ok.
The phone closes the dialog without displaying an error, but the voicemail number still reads as <Not Set> and the voicemail notification still says "Voicemail number unknown", though clicking on the option again shows 1416 already filled.
By default, calling voicemail dials *86. On my last several phones, I was able to program in a pause and my password. Well, I put that information in, but everytime I press the voicemail button, it only dials *86. When I check my settings, my information is there, but it just won't dial that. Is there somewhere else that I need to enter the information?
I have an iPhone 4S, and just bought a new Android phone.A fair chunk of my family uses iPhones, iPads, and iPods, so I was planning on keeping the iPhone for iMessage and Facetime. However, my texts from said family (at least the ones using iPhones) are being sent as iMessages to the iPhone, instead of my new phone.I'm wondering if there is a way to disable iMessage/FaceTime on my iPhone for the phone number, but leave it active for the email addresses. or any other ways to achieve what I'm trying to do.?
I recently upgraded my iphone 4 for an iphone 6 and we decide to let my niece have the old iphone 4 with our account set up so that she can have the apps that we have as well. Now, I am able to deactivate iMessage but I don't want her to "accidentally" turn it on and I noticed that if she were to do it she could select my phone number and start receiving iMessages addressed to my phone number. Is there a way to completely delete/remove my phone number only from that iphone?
I received a voicemail and now the notification is stuck on my screen. i am not able to swipe it away and when i click and hold on it i go to the app info and the options are, set priority and hide content. Both i turned off and when i pulled down the notification bar it is still there. I have read previous posts but none apply to the s6. I read that you should do a system restart, but will that delete all the things on my phone?
How do i set up the number of rings on my phone, before it goes to voicemail ? Can't find this in instruction book, or voicemail prompts on phone. My carrier is AT&T. Thanks for any help.
