May 24, 2012i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?

Mar 22, 2012Today I had my new iphone 4s delivered, I charged it using the wall charger and when I went to sync with my itunes, the phone wasn't connecting to the laptop, I phoned apple support who talked me through re-installing itunes, when he suggested I try the phone on another computer(which was air mac) my phone connected straight away, the apple adviser said the problem would be with my windows, but its all completely up to date, I've got windows 7, thing is, my old phone (3g) connects fine and itunes is opened straight away, why wont it work with the iphone 4s.

Apr 2, 2012My iPhone 4 suddenly wont connect to the laptop anymore. It still charges fine using the wall charger and I've tried numerous leads just in case. It connects to other peoples laptops. I've downloaded the lastest iTunes and tried to reinstall. All my USB ports work fine with other USB devices. The laptop makes the doo doo connection noise when plugged in so it's connecting somewhere. I have an iPhone 4 and a Advent Laptop with Windows 7.

May 16, 2012I have recently bought a new HP laptop and now it will not install the correct drivers for my third party cable to allow me to sync my iPhone.
With my old laptop I used the same cable and it synced fine so I don't think it is a problem with that, however when I plug it in to the usb port is says "USB not recognised" then says that the unrecognised device has been installed. Yet my iPhone doesn't show up in iTunes.

Aug 20, 2014I've been having issues trying to connect my iPhone 5 (updated to the latest software version 7.1.2) to my HP laptop, it makes the little usb noise when it is plugged in, but the phone won't charge and it isn't visible on iTunes or 'my computer.' Im 100% sure its nothing to do with my USB cable as i have more than one genuine Apple lighting cables, I've plugged my mothers iPhone 5 to my laptop which is also updated to the latest version and it connects, charges and also shows up on iTunes. I have tried connecting my iPhone to other laptops (sister's HP laptop, dad's PC) and it works perfectly fine (charges, syncs to iTunes) so im sure its not my handset. I have updated my laptop's software and iTunes and i've checked that all of my USB ports are working fine. Â
p.s. I had another iPhone 5 which i lost and had the same problem.

Mar 23, 2012I have an iPhone4s. I use Mac Mail. One of my accounts is set to IMAP. If my laptop is on, the iphone will not receive IMAP email. If the laptop is off, the iPhone will receive messages but they disappears from the iphone the minute I check email on my laptop. I have the iPhone and Mac mail set to NEVER delete from the server. I have phoned my email provider and they say it's a Mac Mail issue. I suspect they are right since my POP accounts don't receive messages without deleting them. I change my IMAP to POP since POP doesn't sync sent messages so my thread disappear.
