I use an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4S. After the last update in the 4 I can only choose 1-5 minutes for the code lock, as in the 4S I can choose indefinately (as was in the 4 before too). No changes have been made in the setup, just the latest update.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy C7 has started automatically locking and unlocking itself, and occasionally automatically switching on the light on the back; there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind it and it's very annoying, especially when it locks whilst I'm in the middle of doing something, or unlocks whilst in my pocket which usually ends up with me phoning someone without realising it! will lock/unlock itself continually with less than a second between each event!

However, I cannot make the screen not to timeout and turn off. Basically, the automatic screen lock is deactivated and shouldn't get into way. When I plug the aux cable into the phone I select the Music Stand accessory which is the only one that has a Screen control setting. It is set to On, from the default Automatic. However, the screen goes black anyway, but the buttons stay lit.

I have two bumpers and got two e-mails about refunds). I suppose this is "cool" of them to do, but I actually did NOT want a refund. I wanted a free bumper/case.
The thing is, I purchased my iPhone and bumpers with AT&T Rebate cards (pre-paid Visa cards), both of which expire at the end of this month. What in the world am I supposed to do if the refund doesn't get credited back to my card before the cards expire?
How does this work? As far as I can tell, it does nothing. I have it set "on" and I have seen no evidence at all that it has ever set the time.

How to prevent automatic sync(e.g mail or notifications from apps) whenever 3G is on. I want WiFi for this work just to save my cellular data. unless i open particular app for update/refresh.
In detail: Whenever i want to use safari for browsing via 3G data, automatically other apps useses internet e.g mail automatically sync with respective accounts and also hundereds of notifications show up which unneccessarily drains my battery as well as 3G data. i just want to use WiFi for any sort of syncing process. I installed LockInfo a while ago. I got everything working fine, downloaded it and plugins fine. I got them all from the same repo as I was advised to do that, and everything seemed to be working fine. Everything was up to date etc.
I received an SMS, and instead of it appearing under the SMS on LockInfo, which it does, it appears as well by the annoying Apple notification box.
I still want my phone to light up when I received a text message and the text message to be displayed under the SMS tab in LockInfo, but how do I get rid of the Apple notification box? I saw when configuring the app there was some thing about quick replying to texts and there was a list to choose form. Would any of those get rid of the Apple alert?
i am trying to get samples from ibooks and it tells me to go into the store>settings then enable auto download, but when i go there i have no option for it. I have the iphone 4S, and have had trouble with the automatic date/time and my ical reminders/appt. I live in Phoenix but the default time zone is Cupertino, and that doesn't change unless I switch it to manual. So after inputing events and reminders, and then have daylight savings happen, ( 1 hour difference between Phoenix and Cupertino) all my events/reminders changed that 1 hour as well. Is there any way to fix this without using the manual time zone function?

My phone seems to remove purchased music from my library when space is running low.
Songs that I know I've downloaded show up with the little cloud icon thing and I have to download them again.
- I buy new music from iTunes
- It downloads on my phone
- I go do something else
- I want to listen to the music again
- I try to re download it
- I don't have space
The thing is way overzealous in its deletion.
This morning, I was listening to an album I had downloaded less than an hour before. I paused to watch a video in my photo library (less than a minute long).
I pressed play to resume the music. Music gone.
Later, I redownload the music. Right after it finished downloading, it alerts me that storage is almost full. Music gone.Â
I really want to turn this feature off. Music is one of the last things I would want to remove from my phone.
