i thought i was crazy at first and it was just my imagination when i saw it flash up when receiving a text message/notification/ phone call and the camera flash lighted up. then today i had my phone on silent and received a phone call and just watched it light up and flash until i finally picked up. i've went through a bunch of the settings but i cant find one to turn this off.

The flash works fine with the camera but doesn't work with any other app using the flash like flashlight or heart rate monitor. I tried downloading different apps or deleting the app and reinstalling rebooting the phone each time but the problem persists. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 5.1.1. The same

View 24 Replies View RelatedI've been around since the first IPhone release and apple has never announced a specific case for the 2G, 3G or 3GS. But now with the new IPhone 4 they release a bumper, not really a case. And notice the bumper only surrounds the metal band and thats about the only protection you get? They probably knew about the signal loss during late stages of mass production I'm guessing. This is just interesting to me and speculation.

Recently KLM updated their app to version 3.4.2 an apparently Release 9890.
On my iPhone I still have to deal with (buggy) release 9886 even though by now I have deleted & reinstalled the app several times. how to force a release upgrade of an app??

When I got the 4S stock with iOS 5.0 (gripes about the Apple-imposed limitations aside,) the phone was fine. Come 5.0.1, I think it was fine as well. When I updated to 5.1, however, it seemed to make touch less responsive and increased the latency. It was much more noticable when trying to utilize pinch to zoom. Often times in the browser or photo viewing, I'd pinch and nothing would happen and I'd have to try a second time or my input would be really delayed. I'm wondering if 1) anyone else noticed this, 2) if it's fixed in the recent release of 5.1.1 and 3) if anything else gets screwed up in the update. Because of this, I'm hesitant to update.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got the S6 last week, and I've been using Firefox on it because I'm more familiar with the tabbing system it uses after using iPhones for 8 years. But when I try to save an image by long holding and clicking save image it just vanishes. I checked the gallery, Google photos, even went into My Files and checked images and downloads and checked Firefoxes downloads but it's as if it didn't save at all. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or where these images could possibly be going.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAnyone else a bit annoyed that if you made a reservation to get the IPhone 4 on opening day, partly so you could be the first anywhere to get it, you are now getting it 1 day later than others who aren't anywhere near an Apple store and/or chose mail order? Kind of takes a bit of the excitement away from the hassle of rushing to an Apple store on release day and waiting in the reservation line.

As we are all running the same software I think there is a production problem on some phones. How about Apple release an app you download if you think you have a problem. The app checks the reception when you are touching and not touching it, and if it determines there is a problem with your phone it automatically orders you a replacement. It could also check your GPS and immediately send an Apple courier to your location but that is maybe going to far.
