im using an iPhone 3GS , current version is 4.3.5. I get this error when i click Check for Updates. The iPhone software update server could not me contacted.Make sure your netword settings are correct and your netword connection is active, or try again later. I have not used any jailbreak software on my phone, this is the first time im having problems with my phone.

The error says unable to locate apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com, where I am using yahoo mail server. I had been using more 1.5 years without issue.
The same goes to the ios4 device on my ipad. Is it relating to the changes in the apple configuration for the ios4 ?

I've bought a new iPhone 4s about 3 months ago. First upgrade went fine with iTunes (ver 10.6.1), so I know it cannot be the connection. For the last 3 months I've been trying to upgrade to iOs 5.1.1, but keep getting an error -3259 message (server has timed out). I've checked my network settings, firewall settings, and have even tried to upgrade using other internet connections, but still no upgrade. This is a big problem, because it starts downloading, and then just freezes. I'm not on an uncapped internet connection, and have lost alot of my package to just be disappointed (the upgrade being 803mb) and I'm starting to resent my once favourite purchase.

I read that AIM is no longer supported by Blackberry but that there is an AIM app to download. I followed the direction and uninstalled my current AIM and sent to download the current AIM and still getting the server error.
On my phone I have and ever growing list of people I have called it is called "frequently contacted" how do I stop them from being saved or how do I delete them. I have my contact's list and my favorites. That is all I need or want.

"but they can not give any idea or any other answer about my problems answer. actually we are using company mail accounts on machines which were activeted before. but at now we can not active any new account or old accounts to new machines. we can not active any company mail account from last week. they gave me server setting and i tried with those too.. but at whole time the same answer "wrong password." we excatly know the pw but server do not give permission to activation.
