On my phone I have and ever growing list of people I have called it is called "frequently contacted" how do I stop them from being saved or how do I delete them. I have my contact's list and my favorites. That is all I need or want.

When I get to the last few, it will get very choppy, freeze, pause, and sometimes a popup will come up asking to force close or wait. I have read help files about the default auto-kill option in the task manager. But it does't explicitley specify which apps can be added to the auto-kill list. I would like to way to know which of the stock apps can be added to the list. I have noticed that my battery usage for idle phone in the range of 30-35% (which I believe a bit high). May be the default apps I already have added to auto-kill are required by motoblur and hence started automatically, thus causing a loop.I have installed only 3 apps uptill now so i am sure they arn't causing this problem

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been having a lot of issues with my phone saying it is 98%, 99%, 100% busy with the Task manager alert and it is clearly running slow, but never seem to find the culprit app/program. I have the settings within Task Manager set so I can see the system/core Apps. In generalthe Email Engine (synced with my company outlook web exchange service),Motorola services & Android System tend to be the top 3 apps running. Occasionally, Yahoo mail will be in the mix as well. The highest I've ever seen a single app (email engine) is 25% and the remaining ones are lower. In general, the apps never add up to 100%. I end the things that are using 0% of the CPU, but a few megabytes of RAM thinking that will free up resources and this seems to work, but frequently I find I need to reset the phone.
For context, I am a former BB Bold user who loved how quickly and seamlessly my email and calendar worked w/ the enterprise exchange server at work. Without my calendar synced I won't know how to function and the Droid XPRT has really helped because my work and home (google) calendars now all show up in the same place. When this is happening I find I am on the run, reading/writing email on the email engine via corporate sync.
I've tried searching the archives but haven't found anything regarding this. But, since the ICS upgrade, my Droid Razr restarts itself quite a bit and at the most inopportune times, like when I'm about to make a phone call or trying to use maps to get directions. I don't recall this happening at all before ICS. Anybody else seeing this happening.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI frequently turn the Triumph sideways to use the larger keyboard (easier to press buttons). After the first few letters I press are displayed, I can hear the phone click to acknowledge that I pressed a key, but nothing is displayed on screen.Items of note:
-The audible click when a key is pressed but doesn't display is not the same sound as when a key is pressed and actually displays correctly on-screen.
-often, but not always, when the phone is turned upright, the missing key presses will appear after all as successfully typed in the display.This is my first smartphone. Is this a problem with the gyro-rotation logic? Is this a common problem with phones in general? Is it a symptom reated to scren protectors?
-I have not removed any screen protector meant to be permanent to the phone. I believe there was a bluish film meant to be removed (which I did - at least therewas definitely one over the camera lens)
-I did carefully apply a ZAGG Invisible Shield universal screen protector. NOTE: It was not quite as large as as the Triumph screen and thus the top edge of it lies slightly into the front-facing camera lens and the sensor on the upper right.
