I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?
Usually advice relating to updates on either my iPhone or my iTunes. This time though, both are updated. Have checked several times. When I open itunes, which is working fine, currently talking to my Apple TV and playing tunes, showing photos etc etc, but in the devices section there is nothing...?
So i'm trying to charge my iphone with my macbook, and not having much luck. It's not even recognizing it, so i'm unable to sync or add songs through itunes. I thought it did briefly yesterday, but can't recall. The iphone is currently almost dead at 3%...does that have something to do with it? I was thinking the macbook would just start charging it and recognize it right away.Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Iphone is not recognized by itunes or iphotos when i plug it computer (mac book air). Ipad sync is working though. Tried removing and reinstalling itunes, tried turning off and on mobile, restarted mac. nothing worked!
I have iPhone 4, when I plug it in my computer, it says" USB Device Not Recognized" and nothing happens. iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes. But it charges. Everything was okay all time before and I have no idea what happened. Just once I plugged it in and and computer didn't recognize the phone.
My iPhone 4 is not being recognized as a USB device by my computer, therefore I can't synch to iTunes. It is also not being recognized when I plug it into the USB port in my car, so it is something with the phone, not my PC. I have the latest iOS on the phone and everything was working fine until today.
I had the problem of iTunes not recognising the iPhone on MOST occasions when I start it. Sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn't. This has been going on for 4 months. After running through all the tips on the web, from apple and everyone else i finally discovered I was low on Disk Space (I tried to copy the iTunes backup files to another location to protect them and they wouldn't fit). So I cleaned out my hard disk and everything worked.
while trying to recharge my 9300 curve the message box comes up saying "USB Device Not recognized" . Location of device is in USB Root Hub - Unknown Device. I Tried reconnecting but doesnt change anything. It also says to replace the device. Can I try something else or do I have to replace the device? How do I get the current infoout of the old device?
When I connect my smartphone to my desktop computer via the USB cable, the computer fails to recognize the device. I have attempted reinstalling Blackberry Desktop Software multiple times. My desktop is a windows pc that is running Vista. I am currently running version 184.108.40.206 of Blackberry Desktop Software.
I recently dropped my phone in water, and as a result it wouldn't work (obviously!). I took it to get fixed, and the entire back was replaced. This resulted in me getting a new bbm pin etc. I was told that this would work fine, and that I would still be able to use bbm and my wireless internet (such as bbm, twitter, facebook etc) When I called o2 to have my blackberry services reactivated, they told me that "the device cannot be recognized" Now I'm wondering what else I can do. Is there anything I or o2 can do to fix this problem? Or perhaps the shop that fixed my phone?
What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?
I have: Lg G3 and MacBook Pro. When I plug in the phone to the Mac with the USB cable, it just doesn't recognize it at all. I already installed driver and an app of Android File transfer. Nothing worked. What to do???
I have been using Blackberry protect and App world with this device but recently it sent me a mail to validate my ID credentials. The problem is that through the device I cannot validate as its returning error of invalid password / ID.I can log on with same password and ID on my desktop PC and recognises this device but it could not communicate with it. It started yesterday. BlackBerry ID not recognized via device
I've started to get the "USB Device Not Recognized" error almost every time I connect my S2 to my laptop. This started happening after I flashed the phone with an official version of ICS 4.0.3. The installation went flawlessly, yet I am having a hard time having the phone recognize the computer.
I have this old 9700 I got from a friend that he says is bricked. I took a look at it and when I put a battery on it, it blinks twice, pause and blinks twice again. It does that and never loads. So I thought, this would be an easy fix. I would just reload the OS and it's good to go. But I was wrong.First thing I did is I went and installed an OS6 (.650) and tried the loader.exe but when I click on Next, it does't recognize a PIN, it says USB-PIN: UNKNOWN. I clicked on next nevertheless and tried to reload the OS but then it won't go past the Loading JVM step which is the second step I guess, being 'Erasing Applications' as the first one. I left it for a couple of hours and it still won't load the OS.Next thing I did is tried to wipe the phone using BBSAK, CrackUtil and JL_Cmder. With the CrackUtil, it says 'Phone not connected' while the JL_Cmder won't let me wipe it. It just keeps on going back to the Menu after I've typed 'blackberry'. The BBSAK won't recognize the phone either.I tried using Desktop Manager as well. It can see that the phone is a 9700 but on the PIN, it says 0.One more thing I noticed, when I put on the battery, the red blinks but when I take off the battery and just plug the USB cord, it won't do anything. My computer will do something (makes a sound and 'recognize' the device in a way) ONLY if I have the battery put on before I put the USB cord on. If it's the USB cord alone, without the battery, it stays dead. Which is weird since in my experience, my computer always recognize BlackBerry devices whether a battery is present or not when you plug the USB cord.Oh and BTW, now my computer doesn't read my phone anymore, whether I put the battery in or not. The phone keeps blinking though, when I have the battery on. Blinks twice, pause and do it all over again.
I'm trying to get my Samsung SGH-T255G to connect to my PC, but I'm getting a USB Device Not Recognized warning when I plug the USB in. I've tried both the front and rear ports, no difference.I have the Samsung driver v220.127.116.11 installed (did not plug in cable during install).I downloaded both Samsung PC Studio 3.2.3 and PC Studio 18.104.22.168. The applications work fine, but won't connect because of the Device Not Recognized issue. The phone sees USB power and begins charging when connected. I have it turned on and at the main "idle" screen. Does the phone have to be in a certain mode to connect? Not familiar with how to do this. I'm running XP Pro on the PC.
When an audio device is connected to my car audio, the symbol ‚ô™ appears, telling me that not only a PHONE device is connected, but also an audio device, so that I can make calls and also listen to music (in 2 different sources: one for calls (BT Phone channel)and other for mp3 (BT Audio device) < this one with a real good audio).
I connected my nokia c3 to this car audio but it wasnt recognized as an audio device, only as a phone and the symbol ‚ô™ didn't appear. That is, I CAN play songs, but the audio quality is horrible, trashy, as if it was a phone call (cuz it will use the bt phone source, not the bta device). But when i connect any other phone, the audio plays normally.
I got the c3 connected to my PC and it was also recognized as a phone (and also a modem) BUT NOT as an audio device.
I am getting things set up to root my Nexus 6p using a Macbook Pro. I have Android Studio installed & I see the platform-tools folder like the tutorial says. But my phone isn't showing up as a device on my Macbook nor is the terminal command "adb devices" showing it. Need to successfully rooted their Nexus 6p using a Macbook Pro?
