I am finding it impossible to delete old email addresses as phone remembers old ones is there any way to do this without wiping the whole memory and re-booting?
I have virtually nothing installed on c: (the phone) except for the nokia diagnostic thing. But I have less then 800k free memory left. When I didi the last system update I had 25mb free and since then I have applied a Ovi Maps, Contact and Music update all done through the phones SW update thing.I have a couple of file explore apps installed so I can go anywhere on the phone memory and I was just wondering if there is anything I can safely delete.I have a 5230 and I have done the usual of getting rid of the data inside the browser.
I'm selling my X6-00 16GB soon, i did a hard reset with the *#7370#* AND i did a hard reset with the Call key+end key+camera+ turn on. Neither of these did a format on my E: on the 16GB memory. All my pictures and music are still on the phone. How do i format the memory? Everywhere i've read it says that the hard reset deletes all files, but it didn't.
I need answer to one problem. My nokia N 96 says that phone memory is full. How I can delete some files from phone memory? I have in download folder 18 MB some files but I cant access to this folder.
I am looking to increase my memory, I am wondering what some of the apps are that I can get rid of. I have removed the games and some basic stuff, but would like to get in there and clean it out pretty good without screwing it all up.
why i am asking because after instaling some applications like (games, google latude, softwares) etc. after this it start showing that the memory is low, because of that the sms are not coming, so that i went sonyericsson sevice center they told that u have to formate u r os and reinstall the os, so that i did the reinstalation know it is working fine.
I have had some problems with memory cards, but I am now left with about 20 blue squares with a picture of a memory card in the corner, but it won't let me delete them... How I can get rid?
I download skype and installed after installation i deleted the the skype but the usage of skype used by phone memory is not deleted. how to delete the application from phone memory.
I know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc). Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?
I still face a problem that when I buy mobile then phone memory was 40MB, but now it reduced to 30MB. I try to browse and remove unwanted file from phone memory. But nothing gonna happen. I also use pc suite, mass storage etc, but can't. What can I do now?

My camera in my Blackberry says that the memory card is full and that I should delete photos. I have already transferred them all to my computer and deleted them via my computer however the phone still says that I need to delete. How do I do a complete delete of my memory card?
I've recently bought my 9900 and have only downloaded about 7 apps, however I often get a message saying my internal memory is low and I need to delete some languages to free some space. Whenever this message comes up my phone right side very slow, when I try to open a app or file it takes very long and mybphone freezes for a while. If I do a battery pull my phone runs properly for a day or so, until I'm greeted by the same low memory message. I've got no memory card and only a handful of media files.
I am using Nokia 500. My question is how to delete unwanted files in C: Phone memory, which has 83MB SIS applications and 81 MB other files and why daily the free memory is getting reduced for example it was 100 mb earlier and I dint even installed new applications and it reduced to 20 MB, is there any option as we have in computer like clearing files in %temp% and prefetch .
I've searched high and low for people posting about a similar experience, but after trying several different suggested methods, nothing seems to work.First off, I have a Napter-to-Go membership that I use exclusively on my Storm. This type of setup requires that I plug my Storm in and sync it to Napster every month or so in order to validate the DRM on each song. I noticed about a month ago that even after plugging my phone in and syncing that some files were not being validated (they won't play at all).
I was told that my best bet would be to reformat the card (specifically remove the music file) and start fresh.Unfortunately I've attempted doing this on several levels, including:
- Manually deleting every song via Napster (didn't work)
- Accessing JUST the memory card and attempting to delete the music folder AND after that failed (told me something about write protection) I attempted to reformat the entire card, which also failed.
- Using Blackberry Desktop Manager and attempting to delete said music via the Roxio program, which only froze after I attempted to access a listing of my music.
i just discovered the Blackberry App World yesterday. I was downloading the new BBM, and my internet connection kept breaking up. Every time the internet failed, my BBM download would fail, and I restarted it. Unfortunately, it seems that all the downloading I did took up all my memory (even though I never completed loaded the application) and now I have no space on my blackberry to try to download the whole version of BBM! Does anyone know how I can delete these 'failed' downloads and get back several MBs of memory?
Recently my blackberry stopped saving pictures that I have taken on the camera. It comes up as 'read only files' and it's blank. Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. I have tried the battery pull, connecting my blackberry to my pc, even tried formatting the media card and it comes up as formatt failed both on the blackberry and also on the pc.
My X3-02 keeps on flashing "phone memory almost full, delete items". How do I change the memory in-use setting from "phone" to "memory card" because my memory card is not even 1/4 full. I have saved all my contacts (1000+) in my phone memory. I have initially stored them in the memory card but I don't know how to make them appear in the "Contacts list" so I copied them thru the SIM (250 names at a time) from my old fone (bluetooth Sync&Back up didn't work) to my X3-02 phone memory.
