I have had some problems with memory cards, but I am now left with about 20 blue squares with a picture of a memory card in the corner, but it won't let me delete them... How I can get rid?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWell basically i have bought this amazing phone xperia play, however downside is the internal memory only 400mb ( i mean seriously) but anyway ive been 'app exploring' and downloaded so many to my sd, but some were un movable from the phone i do not know why. so upon getting full i thought it will be a good idea to give it a reboot, upon doing that, when i revisited the phone ive lost all my apps on my sd card, funny enough i still have my photos and media on the sd card.
also in the settings>applications?managing applications and in the sd section its showing 2.90 gb availible of 7.99 or somrthing, basically the apps are there but i can't view them(thats what i gatherd from this issue)
Does anyone know how to change the default storage to the external Memory card when downloading apps from the market place for th SE x10min pro?So far I've downloaded few apps and they all get downloaded to the phone memory. So it's nearly full but the SD card still has 1.8GB. If there isn't a default option, does anyone know how to get around the issue?

Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've searched high and low for people posting about a similar experience, but after trying several different suggested methods, nothing seems to work.First off, I have a Napter-to-Go membership that I use exclusively on my Storm.This type of setup requires that I plug my Storm in and sync it to Napster every month or so in order to validate the DRM on each song. I noticed about a month ago that even after plugging my phone in and syncing that some files were not being validated (they won't play at all).
I was told that my best bet would be to reformat the card (specifically remove the music file) and start fresh.Unfortunately I've attempted doing this on several levels, including:
- Manually deleting every song via Napster (didn't work)
- Accessing JUST the memory card and attempting to delete the music folder AND after that failed (told me something about write protection) I attempted to reformat the entire card, which also failed.
- Using Blackberry Desktop Manager and attempting to delete said music via the Roxio program, which only froze after I attempted to access a listing of my music.
Recently my blackberry stopped saving pictures that I have taken on the camera. It comes up as 'read only files' and it's blank. Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. I have tried the battery pull, connecting my blackberry to my pc, even tried formatting the media card and it comes up as formatt failed both on the blackberry and also on the pc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk everything was working fine till I inserted the memory card back into my phone after copying a video file.I hear a tone that it has detected the memory card but don't see any notification that it is installing memory card apps as it used to show. All my apps are gone but when I check the apps manager, it lists all the previously installed apps are installed. :s No apps icons visible in the apps folder but memory card detected and can be accessed via file manager.I have already removed and reinserted the card several times and turned the phone on/off.What to do ? Are there any files that can be copied so that the phone autodetects the installed apps?

Today I tried moving instagram and fb messenger to the sd card from phone memory and when I tried opening those apps they froze where I had to remove the battery . View 1 Replies View RelatedCurrently I have a 2GB memory card on my E63 (latest firmware), which has 3 'paid-for' applications and several free downloaded applications, loads of mp3s etc. I have purchased a 4GB memory card already, and would like to "do something" that would help me retain the entire contents of the current 2GB memory card, onto the 4GB memory card, s.t. apart from extra file space (which I plan to use for photos, videos, music), all other applications and current content remain available on the new card, w/o any other impact. I believe that backing up and restoring via 'Nokia PC Suite' won't save my apps, and only some of the data. E.g. it won't save the eBooks I have.
