Last Month i have restored my iPhone with iOS 5, since then my contacts get deleted automatically. I also updated with the latest iOS i.e. 5.1 just to ensure that might be a software glitch but still i am facing the same problem.

i am started to using I4s 2weeks back. i lost my warrenty papper,whenever i connected wifi to phone my contacts nos which i saved in my contacts list will automaticaly deleting( if 100 contacts is there after connect to wifi its comedown to 63.

When I go to message them it asks me to re-invite them before I can. A few of my other friends have noticed it too where they get deleted from peoples' contact lists, no one that. We're all running version 5.0.0.57 if it helps

I have a iphone 4s and my Yahoo emails are automatically being deleted! I have researched and seen other people having this issue after the update but I do not have the option to "Look down for Mail Days to Sync" and to then choose no limit from the settings, mail/contacts/calendars, yahoo account...
When I first got this phone the email worked fine and just started doing this not too long ago! Also, all of my emails have been deleted from my yahoo account because my phone deleted them!

I have recently purchased a Torch and set up two email accounts which both synch with Outlook. My emails are now being deleted from my Torch, although sent ones are still there. I have changed settings so email is deleted after 60 days. I read somewhere that I should turn off wireless reconcile, but that hasn't helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions as the whole reason for having the blackberry is to connect with my emails remotely

Each will reinstall themselves a few minutes after I uninstall them. AVG finds the first 3 apps to be 'unwanted programs' Lookout finds no faults with any of them. What app is controlling them? and how do I delete them for good? Noticed them a few weeks ago and uninstalled them, a few days later they were back. Now it does it in minutes, phone is becoming unusable because AVG keeps popping up to tell me there back. Its like the Poltergeist movie 'their here!'

When I put in all my details to set up my e-mail exchange account all the contacts are deleted. I have tried a few times and ensured that the box's next to contacts calenders and reminders are not checked ( so they don't sync) but it is all still deleted. It seems I can have either my e-mail working or my contacts installed and that can't be right.

I synch my adresses via icloud with my windows-outlook 2007. After changig an adress in outlook I sometines get a additional copy of it in my iPhone. I deleted my icloud account on my iphone and in doing so was asked if I wanted to delete the contact and calendars. I thought they were talking about the icloud account. But what I did not realize was they were talking about ALL contacts. I checked my desktop and all contact are deleted. I am wondering if there is a way to delete contacts from my phone, while keeping them in the address book of my Macbook? I have many contacts that I would like to keep permanently for future use, but am hoping to clean up the contacts on my actual phone. Each time I delete a contact from the iPhone, the contact is simultaneously deleted from my Macbook address book.
