IPhone :: Keeps Changing Carriers With Automatic Carriers Turned Off?
Apr 10, 2012My iphone keeps changing carriers with auto carriers turned off. It's only just started doing this since the latest software update. I have an orange contract so I'm able to switch between orange and T-mobile on my contract as both companies have merged. The problem is I can only get 3G on one where I live and it keeps changing to the other network that I don't want to choose.

Jul 3, 2012My factory unlocked iPhone 4S on T-Mobile cant receive Emoji icons from an ATT iPhone. Instead I see a bunch of weird symbols, but the ATT iPhone can receive emoji's from my phone. Also some of my friends have a verizon iPhone and I can receive their Emoji icons, and they can receive mine. At one point I was able to receive emoji icons from ATT iPhones.

Nov 25, 2015Not sure if this is the right place for this. But on my new 950xl I am noticing that I can send emojis, but I cannot receive them. They come as just squares. It's not selling my friends on Windows Mobile since we can't communicate as we normally have.

Nov 27, 2014I have a GalaxyS5 running on 4.4.2 (the latest from my carrier) I've never been able to see emoji in texts. It didn't bother me until recently when it seems everyone has gotten on the emoji bandwagon.
I can send emoji and I can see them and everyone else can see them just fine but when they send them its just jibberish on my end.
I've tried a bunch of different apps with plugins and no dice. I've also scanned the phone through AVG and there's no virus.

Apr 5, 2010Off-topic note: I wasn't sure whether to post this in the Help section or the Hacks section, but I found similar problems in this topic so I decided to post here.Anyway, self-explanatory. I am unable to receive MMS from other phones.I have a iPhone 3gs unlocked (T-mobile).I get the error about message resolution size.I've tried every solution found on forums. The most recent one I've tried is this one http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=821026 .
The weird thing is, it used to work before...At default, it didn't work, so I enabled it. Then it didn't work again, so I fixed it...then broke again and so I fixed it one more time. This time it doesn't work at all.And so I've tried a variety of different things found on countless forums. I've also went into Cydia and downloaded the T-Mobile prepaid package or whatever. I tried all 6 of them. And each time I tried new network settings I restarted my phone.Oh and I have 3.0 software. Jailbroken and unlocked. Also, I can receive MMS from other iPhones, but not other phones.Any suggestions? And no I don't remember the settings that I've used when I fixed the problem. But I'm pretty sure I've used them after going through a number of familiar forums with network settings.So in short
-Can send mms to any phones
-Can only receive from iPhones
-Can't receive from phones other than iPhones

Jun 20, 2012I have an iphone 4s with AT&T service. I have had 2 previous models of the iphone with AT&T and not had a problem before. However, since I have upgraded to the 4s, I cannot send or receive texts to people that still have a 3gs and it also seems to people with Samsung phones. From what I know, everyone is on AT&T for their service. This is very inconveinent and information is not coming across when we assume the text has gone through.

Jun 25, 2010Anyone receiving MMS from non-iPhones? If so, from non-iPhones on a different carrier than yours? I am able to send and receive MMS to/from other iPhones but when someone without an iPhone sends me an MMS, I receive: "Callback #: XXX-XXX-XXXX". This was not an issue with iPhone OS 3.x. I've reproduced the problem on three different phones all running iOS 4 (a 3GS and 2x iPhone 4's).On all three iPhones, we have tried resetting network settings, but this doesn't fix it.
