My iphone keeps changing carriers with auto carriers turned off. It's only just started doing this since the latest software update. I have an orange contract so I'm able to switch between orange and T-mobile on my contract as both companies have merged. The problem is I can only get 3G on one where I live and it keeps changing to the other network that I don't want to choose.

My wife has a 4S i phone and can dictate her text messages, which is nice since she cannot type at all. I have the i phone 4 but cannot seem to locate the microphone icon on my screen for texts that she has, nor find anything in sound settings to figure out how to do the same. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

I also upgraded it to the latest available software: 4.1.B.0.587.This Xperia Ray unlocked phone does not work on Bell, Rogers or Videotron carriers in Canada who own the three Canadian cell networks. The IEMI number is rejected from these carriers. I tried the Virgin SIM (uses the Bell network) and the Rogers (Rogers network) SIM, and neither one works. I called Bell customer service and they say that it must be a different phone from the Canadian Xperia Ray... but that does not make sense. Isn't there only one Xperia Ray version???
