I updated slacker this morning and i guess it now supports multitasking as it still going and i have no clue how to stop it from running on 4.0. i doeble click home screen and it just shows me all my programs on the bottom.

I usually plug it into my dock and just let it play using my wifi. Is there anyway I can get it to work down there? I tried using hotshield vpn but it doesnt work anymore. Any other free options, apps on cydia, anything?

The led flashed right 3x and then the hour glass over the white screen showed up. I had to do a battery pull to get the phone on.When the phone came back on, I have an app for Slacker Radio?My wife who still has ver .138 on her phone had this "slacker" appear a few weeks ago.Why does Verizon want to push apps to my phone ?

Only the icon appears, when I go to my app list, it isn't listed.how do I get remove it? For now I've just hidden the icon..
View 12 Replies View RelatedI listen to Slacker radio all the time, but sometimes in the middle of a song, the volume the cranks up. I'll be sitting in the library listening to music, doing homework without touching the phone, then the next thing I know the volume increases x1.5, then I have to turn it down manually, even though the volume adjuster is the same as before. I haven't noticed this using Windows Media Player, but I use Slacker 85% more than anything else. Has anyone else experienced this, or is my phone defective?
I just upgraded to .517, and it has occurred on both OS'.
First of all I know that this is a topic that has been discussed several times, and I have spent that past few days researching to try and find the solution on my own, but I have not had any luck. I have a storm 2 and I downloaded Slacker Radio version 2.0.91 which I downloaded directly from slacker.com. The app works great but caching stations is where I am having a problem. I have MSM enabled (prompt) and as far as I know the encryption is not on. Once I have selected the station I want to cache, I completely exit out of Slacker and then connect to my computer. It allows my phone to go into MSM and I get an autorun pop up for Slacker and I can select sync cached stations. When I make this selection a little box comes up saying "Checking Slacker Station Loader Version" and then the box disappears and absolutely nothing happens. I have tried rebooting the computer, doing battery pulls, dleteing slacker from my phone and media card and reinstalling and I cannot get this to work.

What I mean is if I'm using Slacker and i see something I want to snap a pic at...the camera wont let me.
On both Pandora and slacker radio my songs are randomly "skipping" as if I was hitting the skip button. They might play for 5secs or the whole song. The only time the problem goes away is when I'm out of skips! Between that and the awful wifi that cuts out just as randomly, its rather unlistenable. I stream music all day at work, and I've started just using 3g because it doesn't cut out like the wifi, but its eating data and still skips. If I don't find fixes to these issues this phone is going on craigslist... I got it assuming it would out perform my mesmerize which so far it does not.(at least for audio) Also, the streaming audio glitches out every time I press the top hard button.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was having a issue with the Slacker app that came preinstalled on my Bionic. The app will freeze for about 5-10 seconds and then I have to force close it. I did try clearing the data and that did not work. I removed the updates for the app and that seems to have taken care of it. The app started acting funny after the .902 update and eventually became unusable until I did the above.

About a month ago, I had my blackberry plugged into my truck via headphone jack, and the song volume kept reseting itself about 3 bars lower than max. I changed NOTHING. Since that day, I've had the same issue when streaming my music through my chatterbox via bluetooth with both media player, and slacker. Normal phone speaker seems to work.

and to set ALL permissions to "allow".Seems like a funny couple of tips, seeing as how I told them the problem I had was intermittent loud volume and skipping songs randomly. I had also mentioned that album art was missing in the previous version of slacker--something that's been working since I upgraded BEFORE I emailed them.

It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

My iPhone will not respond to anything. It will not turn on or off with the power button. The home button is not responding. I dropped it under a running sink 3 weeks ago. Its been in rice since. Ive tried turing it on but it just stays on an apple logo. Now there a pieace of rice stuck in the charger hole so i can't connect to anything. I took it to apple the guy said since its water damaged $150 for a replacement. But ive heard that if i just say it wont turn on and not mention the water they'll replace it for free. I understand the maps don't support turn by turn voice guiding at this stage, but I thought ovi maps would at least be able to show a driving view instead of a birds eye view for navigation...Might be a bit of a lamens question, but if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it. I'm in Australia and Sygic is not available. I'd purchase it if it was available.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this has been posted but, if you install Life In Pocket and start out on your destination, hit the BB button and choose BB Map Route. Once in BB Maps, click on the Start GPS Navigation, then the BB button, and choose track up. I put the zoom on 2 and it makes for a pretty good voice turn by turn free GPS.
