I have all my music set to availible offline, so it is all stored locally on my phone, but the HDMI entertainment app doesn't detect any music, nor does the motoblur music app. I don't really care about the motoblur music app but how can I get my music recognized by the HDMI entertainment system app (is app the right word for the HDMI entertainment interface?), or is there a new app I can get that will recognize the music synced by google music?

May 27, 2012I updated my iPhone 4 CDMA today to iOS 5.1.1 from 5.0.1 and the orange icon, Music app will not play any song. I originally had iTunes Match on, no songs played. I turned iTunes Match off, still no songs played. I opened Pandora and it plays songs just fine. Music is the only app seemingly effected with this bug(?). If so, is there anything else besides restoring my phone that I can try to do?

May 30, 2012I just bought an iPhone 4S and I synced it with my iTunes library where I received all of my music. But I then started to play my music, but it wouldn't work? The only music that works is the music that I got from other media. Whenever the music plays, it either just stops or doesn't play? Please help, it also doesn't work with videos and I have tried syncing from other libraries where it deletes all of the data and syncs it with the library.

Mar 27, 2012My iPod crashed, so in the meantime I figured I'd use my iPhone. Hooked it to my computer, recongized it fine, Music, audiobooks seemed to transfer to my iPhone fine (I can see them AND play them through tghe iPhone from my computer in iTunes) BUT - Anytime I go to my iPhone on its own - disconnected from my computer - and launch iTunes, all I get is Store information. I cannot seem to locate ANYTHING I transferred (and I KNOW is on the phone) using iTunes. If I go to "More" as a control and try to launch "Configure" everything is blacked out and I cannot reconfigure anything. It seems like iTunes on my iPhone won't recognize anything I transferred.

Mar 30, 2012I got an iphone 4s about 3 weeks ago and it has worked perfectly. I recently went to whistler to ski, and when i got back to my hotel room i dropped my iphone in the bathtub while i was playing angry birds (stupid, stupid, stupid). It was submerged for about 2 seconds with an otter box case on. I know its not very effect from liquids but it does block the plug in well but not the speakers. It was fine as i instantly dried it out of the case and it worked fine. But later i tried to play music outloud and the volume bar would disappear and it would stop playing music. It thinks it is docked, sometimes even with headphones in. Both liquid indicaters are white and nothing else is wrong.

Apr 7, 2012I was only hearing music played out of the left channel, either with or without headphones and also when played through a dock. Go to Settings : General : Accessibility and slide the L - R slider to the middle. Now the music plays out of both the L and the R speakers. (If you tap the mono button there, then you will also hear sound out of both speakers, but you won't hear stereo effects, so don't do that).
