I updated my iPhone 4 CDMA today to iOS 5.1.1 from 5.0.1 and the orange icon, Music app will not play any song. I originally had iTunes Match on, no songs played. I turned iTunes Match off, still no songs played. I opened Pandora and it plays songs just fine. Music is the only app seemingly effected with this bug(?). If so, is there anything else besides restoring my phone that I can try to do?

Like I wrote when i open music player, and choose shuffle play it keeps to play random music.
But when i play music in mini music player (xpress buttons) shuffle works.
just downloaded music via the cloud now can't play the music on ipod dock or car radio

However, I already had a folder called "music" in my OneDrive root folder (i.e. OneDriveMusic). When I open my Xbox Music app on my Icon, it doesn't see the folder and doesn't see the music that I already have there. So how do I get it to work. It's working fine on my SP3.
I checked my Xbox account and it shows I'm signed in.
With my S4, when I connected to bluetooth in my car and then switched to Media, it automatically started playing Google Play Music. Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?

I have all my music set to availible offline, so it is all stored locally on my phone, but the HDMI entertainment app doesn't detect any music, nor does the motoblur music app. I don't really care about the motoblur music app but how can I get my music recognized by the HDMI entertainment system app (is app the right word for the HDMI entertainment interface?), or is there a new app I can get that will recognize the music synced by google music?

I think the problem is the android lollipop. I used to connect my z5 in jbl xtreme. my huawei telpad running android kitkat has no problem in playing music using bluetooth. I just bought an iPhone 4S and I synced it with my iTunes library where I received all of my music. But I then started to play my music, but it wouldn't work? The only music that works is the music that I got from other media. Whenever the music plays, it either just stops or doesn't play? My iPod crashed, so in the meantime I figured I'd use my iPhone. Hooked it to my computer, recongized it fine, Music, audiobooks seemed to transfer to my iPhone fine (I can see them AND play them through tghe iPhone from my computer in iTunes) BUT - Anytime I go to my iPhone on its own - disconnected from my computer - and launch iTunes, all I get is Store information. I cannot seem to locate ANYTHING I transferred (and I KNOW is on the phone) using iTunes. If I go to "More" as a control and try to launch "Configure" everything is blacked out and I cannot reconfigure anything. It seems like iTunes on my iPhone won't recognize anything I transferred.

I got an iphone 4s about 3 weeks ago and it has worked perfectly. I recently went to whistler to ski, and when i got back to my hotel room i dropped my iphone in the bathtub while i was playing angry birds (stupid, stupid, stupid). It was submerged for about 2 seconds with an otter box case on. I know its not very effect from liquids but it does block the plug in well but not the speakers. It was fine as i instantly dried it out of the case and it worked fine. But later i tried to play music outloud and the volume bar would disappear and it would stop playing music. It thinks it is docked, sometimes even with headphones in. Both liquid indicaters are white and nothing else is wrong.

I was only hearing music played out of the left channel, either with or without headphones and also when played through a dock. Go to Settings : General : Accessibility and slide the L - R slider to the middle. Now the music plays out of both the L and the R speakers. (If you tap the mono button there, then you will also hear sound out of both speakers, but you won't hear stereo effects, so don't do that).
