Dec 15, 2010I have just gone from Sony Ericsson C902 to Sony Ericsson Xperia X8. On the C902 I was able to assign different ringtones to different contacts, but on the Xperia X8 I don't seem to be able to do this.

Jun 23, 2012Iphone4s - because I use pass lock I cannot decline a call such as a blocked number. If I can't see who is calling then I don't want to answer it. But due to having my phone on lock - i can see its a blocked number but there is no option to decline. If i unlock my phone it automatically answers the call.

BB Bold 9700 :: Calls Are Blocked And Asks To Enter 10 Digit Number?
May 11, 2010Every time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international.Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.

It appears that if the contact has a picture the option to change the ringtone is greyed out. All contacts without a picture I can change just fine.

Now I am having a problem setting songs as ring tones, my previous phone was easy select song goto options, set as ring tone done. Now unless I am being thick I just cant seem to do this new X6 as east as that as far as I can tell you have to go via settings...Personal...Profiles...Options... Personalize.. Ringing Tone. Then yo have to scroll the WHOLE SONG LIST.
Also I have downloaded songs via Nokia and I can't seem to use those as a set ring tone(when I eventally find them!!!) says thay are locked. Somebody help me it is driving me up the flippin wall.

Mar 12, 2010I have been shopping for phones on Ebay and have found a few phones that the Sellers described as powering up but non functional because of a user lock code. The user locked phones are dirt cheap. I have been looking at HTC phones primarily: Mogul 6800, Touch 6900, Touch Pro 6850 and the Diamond.
1) Could I reset or "flash" a user locked phone and make it useable?
2) Would I need special software or equipement?
3) Is this something so easy for the dealer that is selling the phone to fix that I should be skeptical if this is just an excuse to hide a more serious problem with the phone?
