Every time I open an app my apple ID pops up like I am buying songs or apps from iTunes or the app store. Others have said it has happened to them because some of their music isn't fully downloaded. I have checked and all the music I have purchased on iTunes has been downloaded.
My apple iPhone continues to ask for an old user's password when I need to update an app. The previous user was my daughter and all of her info was removed from the iPhone, her email, passwords to accounts on the iPhone, etc. Sometimes it requests my own password, but usually asks for hers. How do I completely eliminate her password to consistantly use mine?
I was standing in line yesterday to get food when all of the sudden my iPhone 4 just turned itself off and would not turn back on. Once I got home I plugged it into the charger which was plugged into an outlet and it turned itself back on. It didn't say my battery was low, but all seemed fine. Throughout the day my phone would turn itself off and back on at random intervals even when attached to a charger. Without the charger it would not stay powered on at all. I attempted to reset it to factory settings through iTunes and in the middle of the reset it turned itself off and wouldn't turn back on. Now i've got an empty iPhone that I can't connect to iTunes. This seems like a pretty serious problem with it and I'm afraid that I'm going to have to get a new phone.
My 4 which is upto date with latest OS and has been for a while, during viewing any sort of movies it will change over to voice control and music and start playing?
I was listening to music on my iPhone 4S, and all of a sudden, it stopped. I've tried rebooting the phone numerous times, but every time I try to open my music, the app crashes.
My phone keeps looping, powering up and powering down and continues the process. I do not want to restore my phone where it will cause my pictures and video to be lost.
I have a JBL Micro Mini that I bought at the local Apple store. true phone shows the JBL micro mine in the Bluetooth listing and says "Not Connected and continues to search and shows the wheel of death continuing to turn. My son's Android phone connected easily. I have that same problem with my iPad.
I was updating the latest itunes and os on iphone 4s,this failed, and now the phone continues to display the connect usb cable to itunes screen.Tried switching off normally, same screen reappears, tried holding the back button and on/off together, same screen keeps reappearing.Tried disconnectinf the usb cable, from iphone and also the computer, no change, also tried a different usb connection on the computer, no change. Was iOS 5.1, was upgrading iOS
i recently updated to v 21 but after that i have a problem with video playing. after i play any video it stops after a couple of minutes but the audio continues.i have been using ovi convertor for some time.and i have no issue with it. i m also exepriencing this problem now with the videos which i converted before updating the firmware.
I just noticed that after I exit the facebook app it continues to use 20 to 35% cpu. I have refresh set to never & notifications off. Looks like it just sits there using cycles & killing the battery. Once I long press home & swipe it off, it's cpu returns to zero.
My N97 keeps on resetting all the time, completely turns off by itself even when the battery is full the phone won't even turn on at time and my phone firmware is V20 and I want to update to V21 but is not letting me. I also have hard reseated the phone once and done soft reset multiple times. After getting it replaced once its still resetting more frequently than my other one before I got it replaced.
After i've recieved and read a message a friend sends me using blackberry messenger - the red "you've got a message" light will continue to blink. There is no other messages to be read, and no other emails/text etc...
My new Bold 9900 has terrible echoing for the person talking to me while I am on my cellThey say every line comes back at them and I sound like I am "under water". I have had the phone replaced 3 times, and the sim card replaced 3 times. I have had the account cancelled and recreated and still no satisfaction. It is worse when the call first starts, then it gets better sometimes and then continues echoing, and if the caller has a clear signal then my own voice starts echoing. I don't know what else to do - one technician thought it could be my data is corrupt?? I don't think that is the case.
Just bought a z3 and I've been having some strange issues. For example if I play a YouTube video it loads fine, it starts to play but about 10 secs in the screen freezes yet the audio continues. Other issues also occur when I try to skip parts of a video it just refuses to load. Its occurring throughout all videos on all formats no matter if I go through a browser. Have also tried WiFi versus data no difference.
I recently got the Motorola Car Dock for my x2 and am having a problem where the phone claims to be continuing to charge after I've removed it from the dock. More recently the Car Dock app will exit after starting. On that issue I've checked and it is not on the auto end list and will remain on when it connects to the car's bluetooth system.
While playing music on my BB, every now and then the sound cuts out while the song continues to play. Increasing or decreasing the volume has no effect. I always have to stop/pause the song and then press play again.
I bought the xperia z3+ few weeks ago, and from the moment i bought it I cannot play video on it, the image freezes but the sounds continue normally, I went back to the store and they took it for 10 days and give it back with the same problem and they said they didn't find anything, I did everything from clearing catches, restore, software update, factory reset, nothing works i still cannot play downloaded videos or YouTube or even facebook videos!!
I have the craziest damn bug you've ever heard... I have a ringtone that plays when a call comes in, answer the phone - the ringtone turns off, as expected. However, after I hang up, the ringtone will continue to play. I can adjust the volume, but since it's a ringtone, I don't know of an app to open to change it, other than opening my phone, calling voicemail, hang up, and still the ringtone persists (good thing I like the song — Brian Setzer and Jeff Beck's version of "Twenty Flight Rock".)
Powering off the phone is the only thing that can make it work and it seems to occur more often when the phone is charging (charged?) and plugged in (vs Qi charging).
Mobile data continues to working, when I chose to stamina mode. It works although extended stanby was chose. mobile data doesn't stay off in that mode. Not: Apps active in stanby is empty. My problem was solved: mobile data was closed in 15 minutes after I close keylock
This is happening often. When I have an incoming call the call screen appears and phone rings. I go to answer by dragging the icon to the green answer icon and nothing happens. The phone continues to ring. Trying to drag to the red ignore call icon has the same result. Eventually the caller gets sent to voicemail, but the phone remains locked in this state and needs to be rebooted before it is operational again. I thought it was related to teh phone being in a lockscreen state, but it now appears to be random. I have contacted Google and they said they have not heard of this issue before. Essentially it is unusuable as a phone.
About a 2 months ago when I would connect my blackberry storm (the first Storm) to my computer via the USB cord that came with the phone, I was able to transfer music from my computer (itunes) to the blackberry through Blackberry Media Sync with no problems (open Blackberry Media Sync, connect blackberry to computer via USB, and Media Sync screen would change so that I could sync music to the blackberry storm). I didn't even have trouble installing Blackberry Media Sync back in December 2009
But now after I connect my Blackberry Storm to my computer, the Blackberry Media Sync screen does not change and continues to display "Please connect a Blackberry Device". I have tried these tips that I found online: 1.) restarting my computer (windows vista) several times 2.) updating/reinstalling Blackberry Media Sync and then restarting my computer 3.) reconnecting blackberry to computer, then opening Media Sync 4.) opening Media Sync first and then connecting blackberry to computer. 5.) installing BlackBerry USB and Modem Drivers (even though I can't find the USB driver for it under Universal Serial Bus Controller when I check in the Device Manager when you go to Control Panel - System and Maintenance - Device Manager, but I did find RIM Virtual Series Port v2 COM4 & COM5 when you check "devices by connection" under View in Device Manager) Or are RIM Virtual Series Port v2 COM4 & COM5 the drivers I'm looking for ? 6.) Going to Options (on blackberry) - Memory and making sure Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol (MTO) and Mass Storage Mode Support are set to "On", Encryption Mode is set to "None", and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected it set to "Prompt" though I have tried "Yes" as well. It says I have 785MB of free Device Memory space out of 879MB of total Device Memory and 7.1GB of free Media Card space out of a total of 7.3GB of Media Card space.
None of the above tips and troubleshooting advice has worked. I have also checked the Blackberry Technical Solution Center but I haven't found anything from there that has helped either. I have found online forums/discussions including issues of people having "blackberry media sync cannot connect to the device" pop-up, but I haven't had this pop-up. The Media Sync screen just stays the same as if I never connected the blackberry storm to my computer in the first place even though my blackberry storm is charging via the computer.
Is there something I'm missing or haven't done yet? What should I do?
The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
