BB Curve 83xx :: Red Light Continues To Flash After Reading PIN
Jan 8, 2010
After i've recieved and read a message a friend sends me using blackberry messenger - the red "you've got a message" light will continue to blink. There is no other messages to be read, and no other emails/text etc...
my phone is on silent now. does the light only flash on vibrate and loud? because it usually flashes each time i get a message/bbm, but not it doesnt. i just switched from vibrate to silent.. could that be why?
Ive noticed that after I receive a text message my led will flash red for about 15-30mins then it will just stop flashing at all. Im just wondering if there is any apps there that will allow me to enable a feature like that or is it impossible?
I have a blackberry 8330 and the flash won't turn off for some reason. I lost it in the snow a few months back but everything works fine other than the flash. I went to camera flash settings and turned it off but nothing. Even when I turn the phone off it stays on and wares down the battery.
When I take out the battery and put it back in, the LED automatically turns red and doesnt shut off for about 3-5 seconds, then I can turn the phone on again. Whats going on?
I installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?
I have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.
This is my 4th BB and while I'm not a pro, I would like to think I know a little. I have not been able to find a flash option anywhere on this phone! I just upgraded from the 8330 Curve, to this one and so far I am highly disappointed! My friend who has an iPhone said BB is trying to be more like it. From the layout of the texts to the options. It's frustrating! If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one...I like the BB for the features it has not for being like the iPhone.Sorry, I got a bit rant-y but I cannot believe this new version doesn't have a flash. Hope I'm overlooking something!
My son brought me my phone yesterday and the flash light was on. I don't know what he did to it but it will not turn off even if I power down my phone. I have tried reseting and it doesn't work. I am also getting the error message when I open my camera that I must close other applications before it will let me run my camera.
I have the BB 9360 for a week now, its all good but noticed that when i get a WhatsApp message the LED light will flash red (which i know is normal) however when i have read it the light will still be flashing red, this turns off automatically after around 4mins.
My battery went too low for radio use last night, so i put it on charge when i got home. My charger is broken so it needs to be in a certain position to charge. I charged it throughout the whole night and when i woke up this morning it wont switch on. The red light just comes on for about 10 seconds. I have tried to different chargers one that does work aswel.
I've looked around and haven't seen this specific problem. My T-mobile 8320's trackball has learned the new trick of only working when the phone is in bright light! The symptoms: If the keyboard light is on, the trackball doesn't work. If the keyboard light is off, the trackball works normally. The trackball light never goes off, but stays at least dim even when the screen is blanked and the keyboard light is off. In fact, it is on even when the phone is in the holster. The phone has never been abused, nor experienced water or anything.
I've done the battery pull to no avail, and played with the keyboard/trackball settings and the backlight settings with the same results.T-Mobile says to try a master reset. I'll do that after I figure out what data is on my phone that will need replacing.
My son brought me my phone yesterday and the flash light was on. I don't know what he did to it but it will not turn off even if I power down my phone. I have tried reseting and it doesn't work. Any ideas? I am also getting the error message when I open my camera that I must close other applications before it will let me run my camera.
I've a Curve 9360. Last night the led flash light of it went on, on its own and has been on since. it remains on even if i switch the device off. It goes off only when the battery has been removed. Though it doesnt remain bright throughout. The brightness keeps flactuating
The flash works fine with the camera but doesn't work with any other app using the flash like flashlight or heart rate monitor. I tried downloading different apps or deleting the app and reinstalling rebooting the phone each time but the problem persists. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 5.1.1. The same
I have a Nokia E90 Communicator. recently there is a problem. The red flash light near the camera is always on. I tried switching off the mobile. but the light is still on. I pulled out the battery and when Inserted the battery the fist thing is the red color flash getting on.Can anyone help me to switch it off. its very frustrating to see it always on.
The flash light on my iphone 4 will not turn off and keeps coming on intermittently, draining the battery and really heating the phone up. Have turned it on & off to no avail.
There is only a very small lamp on in a dark room. I can't tell if I'm impressed or not... I do think that it looks GREAT in standard light situations like a lot of the ones in the standard lit video thread but the flash does light the picture well when dark. What do you think of the quality with low/no light and flash?
My flashlight don't work on my z5 o tried different apps but still no joy the flash works with the camera but not with the torch app I did a diagnostic test and it failed on that too
My flash light does not go off after I turn it on from quick settings or after it is used by camera. I have tried a number of things including factory reset but unfortunately without luck.
