IPhone :: Why Isn't My 4S Downloading Apps Properly, "Waiting..."

To start off, it is an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 with Verizon's network. My iPhone is NOT downloading apps at all. Their download icon appears on my screen but never gets past "Waiting..." Now I am connected to a wifi network, with iCloud supporting my 4th Generation iPod Touch running iOS 5.1 and the iPhone 4S. So I've plugged my iPhone into iTunes to attempt getting the results I wish to acquire and it went alright until the download stopped a little under halfway through the download. it does not resume, it just stops. So after getting irritated, I go to my iPod to see if it can download apps, and sure enough the apps I want are sitting there on the screen. How is it possible that my iPhone 4S that is brand new can download apps, but my iPod that is slightly older can just download apps off of iCloud sync...? Please help, I need to download apps, my birthday is coming up and I plan on spending $50 on apps & music, I can't do that if I can't download any content!

Over the past few days I have been having issues updating and downloading apps. When I go to do either, the app or apps just sit there "waiting", sometimes for hours. Eventually they will download or I will just connect to the computer to update. This is happening on both 3G and wifi connections.

Stuck @ "Downloading update..." screen when trying first time connection/start up.
"Downloading update... Waiting for download
This update is 43.8 MB. To continue the download, select a Wi-Fi network.
Via Wi-Fi only until Nov 26
Update size: 43.8MB".
Back button on "Downloading update..." screen doesn't respond.
6P is connected to Verizon mobile hotspot wifi. Verizon wifi speed more than 6Mbps, ping 60 ms (tested from Dolphin browser without data compression)
The 6P Wi-Fi list indicates
Status- Connected
Signal strength- Excellant
Link speed- 72Mbps
Frequency- 2.4 GHz
Security- WPA2 PSK
The 6P phone "Update phone" screen proves internet access by connecting to Google terms of service and privacy policy web pages and allowing web page links to work. Even able to navigate to the Google search/sign in page from the 6P "Update phone" screen, but can't sign in because no keyboard pop up.
Verified the wifi network works for all my other devices. Tried forgetting/rescaning wifi network many times, tried with and without the Google Fi sim card many times, tried wiping cache, factory reset, and recovery modes many times. Tried leaving the 6P connected to the Verizon mobile hotspot for more than 15 hours. Tried the Fi LTE.
After more than 25 restart/initialization attempts, only the previously mentioned web pages display on the 6P "Update phone" screen, on wifi or LTE.

My iPhone 4s keeps telling me that I have 13 apps waiting to download, but they don't download, I have downloaded other apps and it's when I do this it tells me about the apps. I have made sure that there are no up dates for all apps as well as making sure that the phones software it up to date and have switched the phone off for the master reset, but I still have the problem.

After upgrading ios 5.1. I cannot update apps on iphone so I tried to solve this problem.... rebooting, all resetting, all network resetting etc. But I cannot handle this. When apps are being updated I can see waiting under icon but does not progress any more. Also I cannot delete apps waiting under icon on iphone and itunes. x mark does not appear on these apps but I can see x mark on other apps.

My iPhone 4S will not download updates to my existing apps or new apps. Every attempt at downloading simply goes into a "waiting" status. I know it's not my network because my wife's 4S downloads apps no problem, as does my daughters iPod Touch. I have tried completely shutting my iPhone off and turning it back on. No luck. I've signed out of iTunes and back in. No luck.
Right now the only way I've been able to get updates and apps onto my phone is by syncing it, which is ridiculous. I don't understand why this suddenly started happening. I've had the phone since November with zero problems. I know it's not server traffic because my wife's downloads come in quickly on the same network. I haven't been able to download anything in several weeks now.

Today i tryed to download some of my iTunes purchased songs and they all stuck on waiting. So, I went to Appstore to try updating my apps and games, same story there. Tryed to hardreboot my iPhone (lock+home) with no luck, tryed to log out from my acc on iTunes and Appstore, still nothing. No other downloads like podcasts etc are running. I just had a broken iPhone replaced and I started downloading my apps from my old iPhone back onto my new one, via iCloud, in the Apple Store. When I left the Apple Store, they stopped downloading (naturally), as I was not connected to WiFi- but once I got home and re-connected to WiFi, they would not continue downloading. How do I get my apps to continue downloading?

I just got my iPhone 4 and has planned to get my paid apps from Cydia onto it. But it seems like I have to pay again? I linked my account to the iPhone 4 but I have to log into my Paypal and confirm the purchase once more? I have a 4S has which has 1.6gb of free data,which i found from settings.Yet it will not download the new GarageBand update.GarageBand is a large file, but only takes up half of my available space.I have had a problem similar to this (downloading large apps) which I resolved by deleting all the stuff I don't want, but now I need an alternative way, as there is nothing else to delete that I don't want.

The background feature single-handedly killed every other smart phone on the market. I realize other phones can run apps in the background, but Apple did it properly.
To see one app roll off screen to the left as another quickly rolls on from the right is just simply pleasing to watch. App switching on the 3GS is hitch free, I'm excited to see how well my iPhone 4 will do with twice the RAM.

When I download an app from the app store, after I give my apple id password, it will tell me 23 apps cannot be downloaded at this time (including whatsapp and some others..) I don't need to download these apps and there is no update for whatsapp.. so I don't understand why it will redownload these apps all the time. right now I'm trying to reinstall the OS but I fear that when I reset my backup the problem will continue...

I recently bought an iphone 5c (3-4 months ago). Up untill about a week ago, everything was working fine but now I can't download applications over cellular data.
On wifi, i can dowload things fine and my data is working fine (i can use safari, email, imessage, whatsapp ect. without any issues) but when i click on install, i see this circle turning. When i go to my springboard, i can see an icon but it has no image on it and says "waiting" under it, and after about a minute it dissapears...
My iphone IS running the lastest version of ios (7.1.2, non-jailbroken) and apart from a few battery issues, no other problems with the iphone.

My phone has recently developed a problem where some of the apps won't open or run properly. Facebook for example even the appstore, when I open them I just get a 'loading' icon and nothing else. Do I have to restore my phone to it's original settings? I really don't want to lose all my text messages etc.
