I just bought the Blackberry Tour and so far I love the phone except for the volume issue. It has horrible volume. I was wondering if there was a way to raise the volume while you are talking on the phone with and without the earpiece it came with?
View 4 Replies View Relatedmy phone volume is full but whenever i am getting calls or playing music, the volume comes so slow its looks like volume level is 1.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can I disable the"Raise volume above safe level warning" and set my volume to the loudest volume?
The problem that I have is that the audio is too quiet when using the bluetooth in my car, so every time I have to reboot my phone I have to increase the volume, skip past the warning and then raise the volume.
This happens when I try and raise the volume with either Google Music or Dogg Catcher.
The problem is that due to my work, I have to keep my phone off so I go through this at least twice a day.
I had a search but I couldn't find anything that was relevant to the Galaxy S6.
When you are playing a song on the factory installed Google Play Music app or any other app with an equalizer or when using a separate equalizer and you increase any of the bands in the equalizer, the overall volume of the song drops.
To easily reproduce the problem, start playing a song on the Google Play Music app, go to settings, select equalizer, select advanced. Set the equalizer bands to flat (in the middle settings for all bands). While a song is playing, raise any equalizer band and the overall volume of the song goes down dramatically, like by half. This is especially noticeable as you increase the 16k slider. This is not how equalizers should work. A working equalizer should amplify the band you increased but leave the volume on all other bands the same and thus not lower the overall volume of the song. This is happening with all equalizer apps I've installed (besides the stock Music FX and SoundAlive equalizers) and I've seen the exact thing happen with three other equalizer apps on this phone, so it seems like a specific Samsung Galaxy S5 problem.
i have an iphone 5s running IOS 8.0.2 (i think) and it has decided to randomly change the volume of my music when it feels like it or when i open some apps or get messages. If i am listening to music and someone messages me, all of a sudden it can get really really loud and i havent touched the volume at all. It has happened a few times where i have opened facebook or snapchat and it has halved the volume of the music playing for whatever reason and when i have it on the ipod dock the same thing happens but the volume controls have not been touched at all.Â

The volume on my phone randomly turns down when I unlock my phone without me pressing the volume button. Also, sometimes it will not let me turn the volume up as the volume continues to go down without me pressing the volume down button.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Neo V keeps turning up the volume randomly to max and whenever the volume bar near the top shows up I turn it down, but it just goes back up. And it sits there and doesn't let me lock the phone, or occasionally, the phone won't sleep. Then it makes the noise when you press on the volume control repeatedly. It also does that when I have headphones in, just turns the sound all the way up. Is it something wrong with the internal configurations of the phone or the button?

My 2 week old G4 went crazy today, first thing I noticed was hearing the camera taking continuous photos while in my pocket, I took the phone out and watched the volume slider appear on screen and then go all the way down to mute, all three rear buttons were unresponsive and then the slider appeared and volume went up to full on its own.
I removed the battery as the power button was non-responsive. Put it back in and booted up, all fine for half an hour and then it went through the same thing again. I've resorted to a factory reset, fingers crossed.
When listening to music with earbuds and you turn the volume up all the way it's low but not that low, I assumed it was just as loud as it could go, but after a couple of minutes of listening to music with your phone in your pocket the volume suddenly randomly raises and when I click on the next song or pause the song it reverts back to the lower volume.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe volume on my new Nokia Lumia 920 will randomly go very low. So far this only happens when the phone has no need to make any sounds for a long period such as playing music or videos. It goes to like volume of 1/30, but increasing it to 30/30 does nothing to increase it. only putting it to 0/30 mutes as normal but still doesn't go past 1. I have had to restart my phone several times in order to temporarily fix this issue. My phone is completely up to date with the software.
View 14 Replies View Relatedthe media volume (for the Music app) suddenly started dropping to mute continuously. i've had the phone in my hand (not touching any volume controls) and watched the volume level drop repeatedly.. i raise the volume, it drops again. this has happened about 6 times since yesterday, i'm completely baffled by this.what's worse, the volume has also gone all the way up to max, so i'll be listening to music when all of a sudden it's blaring full blast in my ears and i have to rip the ear phones out.
View 7 Replies View RelatedNever had a problem until last night when the ringer volume began to automatically increases on its own.If I turn it down you can watch it immediately increase itself back to full volume and then it will continually chirp that its at full volume. It's like the side button is stuck but it isn't.I can power off the phone and even pull the battery and reboot and it will be fine for a short while and then the problem will begin again.

I'm Nokia 808 smartphone owner running latest officially available firmware but as to the Nokia Maps version i'm still using Maps v3.09 12wk09 b05 while lots of people around already have Maps v3.09 12 wk20 b01installed.The problem is to figure out how to update my current Maps to the latest version. Neither Nokia suite nor built-in device manager can see any update available, Nokia store still offers Maps v3.09 12wk09 b05 bundled into Nokia maps suite.

One thing I have noticed with my new iPhone 4 (and I am guessing it is an iOS 4.0 thing) is that my ring volume affects the alarm volume. On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs the title states my iPhone 3Gs will only output volume at full vome (way too loud on even the tiniest sliver) or none at all (when it is at 0). I've tried using other headphones, restricted the db limit, and nothing seems to work.

My iPhone 4s that I got back in November has two problems, One: the down volume button on the side of the phone is stuck and now doesn't work.
Two: The volume on my phone turns all the way up randomly daily and won't let me turn it back down, the volume icon hardly ever leave my screen.

Every app I have that requires volume to listen works fine. But when I close the app, my ringer volume level is still in app mode volume. The app volume completely takes over my ringer volume level although in settings it never really changed. In order for me to get my ringer volume back to it's set volume, I have to go into settings and move the volume up or down. Then and only then do I have control over the ringer volume with the buttons on the side of the phone.

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?
My volume button broke! I can increase the volume of my music but i cant decrease it! What can I do?PS I listen to music a lot so i need the button to work?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI find the call volume very low even in a quiet environment. If outside, I find it very difficult to hear what my clients have said. One fact business people love blackberry is because it has got good call and ringtone volume.N900's ringtone volume is good, but the call volume is just too low. (I have already used the side button to max the call volume, the strange thing is, 50% and 100% make very little difference...)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this today that when I'm playing a song on my phone, the volume buttons act as the media player as well switching to the next song. I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.
