The problem that I have is that the audio is too quiet when using the bluetooth in my car, so every time I have to reboot my phone I have to increase the volume, skip past the warning and then raise the volume.
This happens when I try and raise the volume with either Google Music or Dogg Catcher.
The problem is that due to my work, I have to keep my phone off so I go through this at least twice a day.

Galaxy S5 :: Music Equalizer Not Working Properly (lowers Song Volume When Raise Band Levers)
Apr 21, 2014When you are playing a song on the factory installed Google Play Music app or any other app with an equalizer or when using a separate equalizer and you increase any of the bands in the equalizer, the overall volume of the song drops.
To easily reproduce the problem, start playing a song on the Google Play Music app, go to settings, select equalizer, select advanced. Set the equalizer bands to flat (in the middle settings for all bands). While a song is playing, raise any equalizer band and the overall volume of the song goes down dramatically, like by half. This is especially noticeable as you increase the 16k slider. This is not how equalizers should work. A working equalizer should amplify the band you increased but leave the volume on all other bands the same and thus not lower the overall volume of the song. This is happening with all equalizer apps I've installed (besides the stock Music FX and SoundAlive equalizers) and I've seen the exact thing happen with three other equalizer apps on this phone, so it seems like a specific Samsung Galaxy S5 problem.

Dec 10, 2014i have an iphone 5s running IOS 8.0.2 (i think) and it has decided to randomly change the volume of my music when it feels like it or when i open some apps or get messages. If i am listening to music and someone messages me, all of a sudden it can get really really loud and i havent touched the volume at all. It has happened a few times where i have opened facebook or snapchat and it has halved the volume of the music playing for whatever reason and when i have it on the ipod dock the same thing happens but the volume controls have not been touched at all.Â

Nov 7, 2015My 2 week old G4 went crazy today, first thing I noticed was hearing the camera taking continuous photos while in my pocket, I took the phone out and watched the volume slider appear on screen and then go all the way down to mute, all three rear buttons were unresponsive and then the slider appeared and volume went up to full on its own.
I removed the battery as the power button was non-responsive. Put it back in and booted up, all fine for half an hour and then it went through the same thing again. I've resorted to a factory reset, fingers crossed.

It goes to like volume of 1/30, but increasing it to 30/30 does nothing to increase it. only putting it to 0/30 mutes as normal but still doesn't go past 1. I have had to restart my phone several times in order to temporarily fix this issue. My phone is completely up to date with the software.

Jul 27, 2010One thing I have noticed with my new iPhone 4 (and I am guessing it is an iOS 4.0 thing) is that my ring volume affects the alarm volume. On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.

Jun 27, 2012Every app I have that requires volume to listen works fine. But when I close the app, my ringer volume level is still in app mode volume. The app volume completely takes over my ringer volume level although in settings it never really changed. In order for me to get my ringer volume back to it's set volume, I have to go into settings and move the volume up or down. Then and only then do I have control over the ringer volume with the buttons on the side of the phone.

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?

I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue.
