Mar 15, 2012I have three email accounts, two work related and one personal. The personal account is the one that gets all the spam and junk I don't want to be notified about. The other two work related accounts contain emails which I want to know about immediately. The problem is that I can't seem to turn on notifications for just the two work accounts without turning on notifications for the personal account.

Apr 23, 2012I have the new iphone 4s. Recently I have been talking to other iphone users but the imessage takes a long time and then results in sending a text message. Usually this is fine but now these people are writing me back and saying that my phone is just sending them weird symbols and numbers instead of my intended message. if I turn off imessage, my texts seem to be fine but I would like to be able to use imessage still.

BB Bold :: Cannot Select Email Accounts In The Setup Section
Mar 12, 2012I have been having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Blackberry Bold 9780.When I first got the phone I was able to set the email accounts up I wanted no problem. Since then however I cannot access the email accounts via the setup menu. The 'Email Accounts' menu is there however I cannot click / open it to access / view the accounts.
I phoned up this morning regarding the matter and they gave me a link to a website where I was able to re-activate the email accounts. Turns out they had been deactivated. I then turned off the phone, took the battery out and turned it on again. When I tried to access email accounts via setup I still could not open the email accounts. I then phoned them again and the woman had me delete all the service books after which I was re-sent them.Basically none of the above worked. I have no email tab within my selections and still cannot access emails.

Jul 3, 2012I've had to reinstall my backed up iphone data 4 times and each time I have to manually select all my emails and mark them as read.
This is kind of ********, selecting all of your email and marking it or deleting it has been a feature on every mobile devise for over 5 years. Why isn't it an option on my Iphone. Why is apple trying to make me buy an app for this common task to get done!!!!

Apr 26, 2010I am 1 step away from throwing this phone against a wall, I really need to access my emails asap.. So hoping some1 can help..Basically it seems to intermittently go into this mode or has this bug or even screen damage? If i open my emails for example what ever I click on it highlights every email from the top to that specific email instead of just selecting 1 email. I cannot click on any individual email it just highlights multiple emails and its impossible to open any emails like this, even if I use the BB Function button then click on Open it jumps to the top "Help" and wont select "Open" or any were else on the menu. It happened a few times over the last week or 2 then randomly goes back to normal, was fine all weekend now it has just happened. I cant select some of the main icons on the home screen either, it's really starting to seem like the touch screen is damaged?? (Also I noticed on the facebook ap there is 1 icon it will now not select unless I tilt it to the side..)

IPhone 5s :: Why Does Sending Email Account Change When Select Recipient
Aug 22, 2014Using an iPhone 5s, I took a photo and sent it to one of my contacts. I have several email accounts and the default one is my gmail account. When I selected the photo and chose to email it, the sending email account in the new email message was my gmail account. However, as soon as I selected the recipient, the sending email account changed to my outlook.com instead of the gmail one. I didn't realize this at the time so when I sent the photo, it sent using my outlook.com account instead of the gmail. I use the outlook.com account more for work related emails, so I don't want personal email messages to go through that account. I've been able to replicate this sending email account switching for this particular recipient both on my iPhone and on my iPad mini.Â
I've run into a similar situation when using Mac Mail on my MacBook - new emails are sent as from my Outlook.com account instead of the default gmail account. However, I've not been able to identify a particular reason for this. In the Mac Mail Preferences, Composing settings, I have selected to send new mail from my gmail account, not the account of the selected mailbox. This seems to be a recent development on both the MacBook and on my iOS devices. Both iOS devices are running version 7.1.2. The MacBook is on OSX 10.9.4.Â
Why would iOS mail change the sending email account based on the recipient, when sending a picture? It doesn't seem to consistently happen when just starting a new mail message from within the mail app. Why would this happen for just some recipients (so far I've just identified one in particular, who is on a comcast.com email account). Why would MacMail on the MacBook send new mail from the outlook.com account when the default is gmail?

Apr 1, 2012I googled all that I can and I'm still very fustrated. I want to be able to arrange my email accounts in a order that I want. Currently my phone chooses to list my email accounts as it sees fit. Now I've tried deleting all of my accounts and adding them in the order that I want them to be in but for some reason the phone just wont let me do this. I have 3 accounts, iCould, Gmail and Hotmail. And they are listed in that order. Now no matter what I do the Hotmail account ALWAYS says on the bottom of the list. Like i said I've deleted them all and added them accordingly but it does not work. I've tired to sync them thru iTunes but it does not show in the info tab.

Another very annoying thing is that everytime I open the mail app it opens to the iCould account by default. I want it to open to my primary account which is the Hotmail account.

I monitor my email very closely as I work for a 24-7 emergency call center and I would like to have a way to differentiate my emails by the rintone assigned to them. My work email goes off all the time, but i can't tell which is which and I hate picking up my phone or stopping what i'm doing for just a junk email.

Jun 27, 2014I have been getting a lot of my emails twice for both my verizon account and my gmail account on my iphone 5s. I will go through and delete emails and then a minute later I will get the same emails back again as unread. However, the ones that I have read and kept, show up as read.Â
I found an answer which led me to believe that when I transferred from my 4s and had trouble with the email accounts I must have set them up twice, although I only see one listing of each account on my device. But the answer didn't explain how to fix the situation. I think it may also be eating up my battery life.

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?

Jun 29, 2010Recently I've been having issues with my Yahoo account on my iPhone4. I have 2 accounts setup on my IPhone, one Gmail and one Yahoo. Recently when trying to update my Yahoo inbox, I've been getting an error message stating I have the Incorrect username or password. Each time this has happened, I've gone to Settings and noticed the stored password under my Yahoo account has been changed somehow. I retype the correct password, it verifies it with yahoo, and then instantly re-displays the incorrect password (obvious b/c it is 3 digits longer than my actual password)?
