IPhone :: Why Did My Most Recent Photos Disappear After Hard Restart

I took photos with my iPhone yesterday in an area with little cell service, and then went back to my home screen without looking at them. A couple minutes later I held the power and home button down for 30 seconds, giving my phone a hard reboot. When I went back to look at the seven or eight photos moments later, none of them were there. However, in the preview screen on the bottom left, it showed one of them.

Right after I press the "all clear" button in my recent apps screen, it shoots me back to my home screen after which my icons disappear and it takes a moment for them to reappear.

i have recently taken pictures on camera roll, i have not deleted them and i know they were saved as i sent 1 as a text message.i have do a jpeg search on my device but they have disappeared.I wouldnt usually be bothered, but they are of my sons prom night.

I've just had to do a hard reset on my phone (was running extremely slow / not picking up email / internet browser running slow - need I go on). On restart all of my ringtones have "disappeared" - E.g. Trying to change any tone the phone tries to access the library by showing "opening", but it hangs. I have checked the phone using Nokia Suite, and the ringtones are no longer there.

I was importing some photos from my iPhone to iPhoto on my macbook. Then suddenly there was a warning that came up and said that some photos and videos were unreadable. So I cancelled the pop out I think. Then suddenly many photos that were unaffected initially, and not meant to be imported, became unreadable.Ā
I then decided to eject my phone, thinking that it'd be ok. However, when i looked at my phone's photos later, the photos that weren't supposed to be transferred, suddenly turned black and then my phone got frozen for a few minutes. So I decided to shut off my phone.Ā
After I switched it on again, I checked to see if the photos were there. To my horror, over 2000 photos went missing and more than half of which contain important screenshots and family photos and whatnot

I can't view some photos in my iPhone 4. When I just do the recover from the BackUp I can see the photos as a thumbnail for few second, then start to disappear. I tried to import them from Mac and PC, but a message said "An error occurred while importing. The item āIMG_3810.JPGā was not imported."
Can si the size and the name, but can't do anything. I tried to recover the backups with some programs, couldnĀ“t fpund those photos. I think the photos could be damage.

i initiated and ios upgrade to 5.1.1 from my phone b/c it said it was already downloaded... after i kicked it off, it says i needed to connect to itunes.. however, it then said i was in restore mode.. after downloading the 800+gb download... it only gave me the option of restoring from an old restore... i thought since it said downloaded, the phone only need to update files and not the entire os. therefore i didnt perform a backup first.

So I attempted to do a full wipe/hard reset on my Nokia 1020.. I thought it was working until it restarted and now goes to a WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER screen. Am I completely screwed now? I don't understand how I can't even force-reset the phone. This is really upsetting and I don't know what to do.

The call notification icon will not disappear from the notification bar not even after restart or shut down.

My Mac crashed last Friday. First timeIs there any way to get my photos FROM my iPod Touch back into my new hard drive. The iTunes sync only goes one way from the computer to the iPod. It syncs the photos taken with the iPod (really an old iPhone 3G without phone service) but not the folders which I synced from the old hard drive to the iPod over the past year.

Curious if this is a Windows 8.1 issue or a 1020 issue. When I import photos some of the more recent ones don't get imported. For all I know some further back aren't making it in either. I also noted that the Camera Roll import using the Windows Phone app only seems to be importing the low-res images. Are there settings to cause this to import the high-res too?

all the recent photos that I have taken apparently do not show up when trying to view them on my PC. I am using a PNY MicroSDHC Class 10 SD Card. I only noticed this just now when trying to transfer some of my recent photo images to my pc - unfortunately, they are only in thumbnail size.I can view the DCIM.thumbnails but they (large 8mp size jpg) are missing in the DCIMCamera folder. > this is examined when plugging into PC (USB Mass Storage)I tried searching the entire photon for the JPG's by date but the full size ones are not there. Only the thumbnails of the recent and old and old large size photos are there.
I took a few shots right now and the same thing is happening. I have set the camera to save on SD card.All my past images/videos and files/documents are still viewable in full size on the SD card via windows explorer. I tried to power down and remove-reinsert SD card but the recent images in full size are not there.I did a search via windows explorer for all JPEGs on the entire drive but it seems all of the recent photos I took are not there, only the thumbnail files.Also, I had purchased this card "as is" new and never did any formating - it seemed to have worked okay up until now.

For most of the time I've had my Atrix, I haven't used encryption. I don't even think it was an option. After the last update, I started using the option to encrypt user data and files stored to my SD card. My Atrix has had a lot of programs force closing lately, so I did a hard reset. All my user data was intact after the reset, but I can't open any of my photos that were encrypted. I've tried setting my password to the same as it was before, but I still can't access the files. Is there anything I can do to get my photos?

I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.

Up to this weekend everything worked just fine. All my mails appeared in my Outlook 2010 as well as on my iPhone 4S, at home as well as on the go. Since Friday my mails started disappearing from my iPhone after having been displayed without any traces. If I wasn't aware of the mails they even disappeared before I could open them. I was not aware of any changes I might have made.
