since my upgrade to the 4s, my newly installed apps are not transferring to my iTunes library. The error message says that they are not authorized on my computer. When I follow the authorization instructions (store>authorize>authorize this computer, it doesn't change the situation.

I upgraded from a 4 to a 4s. Yesterday, I first downloaded newest version of iTunes. Then, I backed up my iPhone 4 (3 times to be sure). Then I got my 4s and followed the instructions to restore it to the backup of my 4. My first hurdle was having to update the ios on the 4s (refurbished phone). Then, I was able to see the last backup from my 4, and i followed the steps to the letter on restoring it to that backup. All my contact and messages restored, but now I have NO music or apps on my 4s OR in iTunes. HELP! What did I do wrong? I'm panicking! I should mention that I have 2 apple IDs, but I don't think that's the issue, because I think I would at least see some of my apps.

I used to have multiple iTunes libraries that I eventually condensed into one, and I somehow cross-synced my iPhone and now it won't sync with any of them. (I get the "this iPhone is synced to another library, would you like to erare the contents and sync with this library" message.) I've tried the trick of copy/pasting the Persistent Library ID, but that doesn't seem to work (unless I'm doing it wrong). I'm A-OK with wiping all the music from the iPhone and loading it all again (if anything I'd prefer to do that now that I've unified my music libraries into one) and all of my contact and calendar items are properly synced with my main laptop. What I'm worried about are the other things on the iPhone (apps, photos, notes, recorded memos, etc.). Especially the apps. If I let iTunes wipe the phone to sync with my new library, will I retain those other items? Or will it wipe everything and I'll lose any apps that I've bought, photos stored on the phone, notes, etc.?

I had been having a problem with my iPhone4s and Itunes communicating. Every time I attached my iPhone iTunes would report an error that the Library could not be updated. I followed instructions on how to more the .XML file, restart iTunes then reimport the library. The problem is that now NONE of the Apps I had are there, and if I attach my iPhone it wants to delete the apps on the phone and replace it with the ones in the iTunes Library, which at this point is only two! So I went to the AT&T store and they did the video swap using their equipment . We watched the screen on the transfer box/computer and it said 66 videos downloaded. (66 is exactly how many vids I have). Same deal! I look in my photo/vid folder and no vids! Where these videos are hiding? Also it appears all my pics went to internal memory and I don't want that. I want them on my SD card.

A friend and I swapped Iphones and the voicemail greeting on my voicemail transferred to my old Iphone (friend's new Iphone). And everytime I go to check my voicemails, it tells me that I must set up my voicemail. I have done it at least 3 times now. I am also getting voicemails going both my friend and myself. I recently updated my N70 Firmware to v32 using OTA update. but his prob has been there since b4 doing the update.
So I'm copying and pasting my videos and pictures from my phone (plugged in to windows 7 desktop) and I'm getting the sound but not the video, pictures are transferring fine. I've always done it like this with my Samsung S4 and never had a problem.

I used the PC companion to transfer pictures and notes from my old iPhone 4s and although I unchecked messages it seems those came along too. No big deal, however when I attempt to delete them the message app freezes, then when I try to reopen it the screen just goes black and I can't access my sms messages at all. If I restart my phone I can access my messages again and send and receive texts no problem but if I attempt to delete the messages the problem continues.
