Mar 30, 2012im having difficulty with this iphone 4s. It wont startup successfully. it only hangs up until the APPLE sign appears with black background and nothing happens after. I tried simultaneously holding the sleep wake button and the home button yet still the same, nothings happen. I tried connecting iphone with itunes but an error occured stating " itunes could not connect to the ipjone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iphone before it can be ujsed with itune", but how can i put the passcode if the phone wont start until it requires passcode?

May 14, 2012I have tried downloading and updating my iPhone 4 with the new iOS 5.1.1 update, but after waiting about 11 minutes a message pops up saying the network connection timed out. This message appeaers once the 11 mintues are done. I do all of this on my laptop and the connection is very strong. So what should I do to make the update not time out?

May 4, 2012When I select photos and videos to delete in order to make space, the phone just won't delete them! It just quickly reverts back to home screen. Trying to install an app just results in touching "install" and nothing happens. May be due to no bytes available (?) How do I delete all these silly 1,600 videos and photos my kids have taken?

Mar 26, 2010Less than a week ago I bought a Samsung Caliber. seemed nice enough.
Yesterday I start trying to use it to forward certain emails I receive on my home desktop computer (Thunderbird) to the Caliber phone.
I would say 95% never make it and a few bounce back out of those so I never get a clue as to what happened. On occasion, one gets through..I have no clue why as its the SAME test email every time. Sometimes the phone will go into downloading message mode eternally (until I remove the battery and re insert it). The files forwarded are small text files.
I have contacted MetroPCS and they were not very much help at all. They are supposedly "opening a support ticket" but I don't know what if any good that will do.
At this point I gather the phone or network behind it is still in development mode. I would strongly advice anyone contemplating this phone to hold off for a while. Seems there are bugs since it is so new.
Someone (maybe from metroPCS or Samsung) may come on and post a rebuttal, but you'll just have to decide for yourself. I am quite frustrated.
The phone seems to do ok on most other things, but messaging is very important to me and it simply fails on this phone so far.
