Today I had a little accident and my iPhone 4 fell out of my lap onto some concrete...needless to say the back is completely cracked and shattered. I'm really lucky that it was the back and not the front. The functionality of the phone is absolutely fine. Everything still works, even the camera. I put a case on the phone now, so you can hardly tell there's anything wrong with it since the screen is fine and the case covers the back.
My iphone 4s screen has been shattered, i have purchased a new one. So i can sync all including texts i need to unlock phone to sync. how do i do this with shattered screen
my phone sliped from my hand and bang , front screen shattered. took it to apple store and they told it will cost around 120£ to fix it. the lady told me to take backup as they will replace the phone.will they replace the phone or change the screen.
i just broke the front glass screen for my ipone 4s, its still working but the whole screen is shattered, is it replacable, my iphone is still under warranty, will it be free?, it is fixable??, i bought the phone from paris, but i am heading to the states in a week, and i live in egypt, but apple doesn't have any official retailers in here, where i can fix it?
I dropped my iPhone 4s from 2 feet above the floor and the whole front glass shattered. When I enter my serial # online it says Repairs and Service Coverage: Active. I am still under 1 year warranty but I am sure this wont be covered. Will it cost a flat $199 to get it replaced at the Apple store? Do they replace it right there in store or does it get sent in? Should I have someone (capable) self-repair if the phone is still in 1 year warranty?
I shattered my iPhone 5s screen (ios8). Tried to back my data up to an old iPhone4 (ios6). I can't back up via the cloud because the phone I'm baking up to is running an older version of iOS than the phone with my data on it. I'm trying to back up from iTunes but can't b/c I can't enter my passcode on the shattered screen. I only have backups on the cloud. I have never backed this phone up to my computer. Because I was told iCloud back ups were good enough. But now I'm stuck in a catch 22.
I've had my cyan Lumia 800 for just over 3 months now and despite the battery life issue - which still hasn't been resolved for me as the 11500 update hasn't been rolled out to my phone - it's a great phone and I love the smooth WP7 interface, the aesthetics of the device, and the built-in Nokia apps like Drive and Mix Radio. So I was horrified when I got out of the car yesterday and my phone slipped out of my pocket, hit the pavement, and the screen shattered and went dead. Even the most careful of smartphone users will have the odd accident like this with their phone and I wouldn't have been shocked to see a scratch, but I would have expected the polycarbonate body and gorilla glass screen to allow it to withstand breaking from a fall of less than 3 feet.
Dropped the phone and it works fine, but, there is now a shattered display across the screen. No crack or broken lens. Is there a way to reset this or do I need to take to shop and have replaced?
DeI have a T280 that has a shattered screen. All my contacts are saved on the phone. I wish to copy all my contacts to my SIM. Could you guide me step by step? Because I can not see anything on the screen.
I just got my iPhone yesterday, and with apple being the homepage for my mac, i was looking and noticed the iPhone 4s is supposed to come with the apps Find My iPhone and the hd 1080 video recording. Mine didn't?
Each time I try and sync my iPhone it gives me an error message that says "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone because the iPhone disconnected" What is going on here? Backed up phone restored software, etc. Nothing is fixing the issue.
Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?
I bought a new iPhone in Okinawa and tried to register it on the Apple website, but it will not let me input a Japanese phone number. Should I use my old American phone number to sync my phone and keep all my previous iPhone information?
Itunes won't let me sync my iphone. I get a message saying; "Itunes could not back up the iphone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone"
I have Windows 7 installed and have seriously tried everything to fix this, deleting old back ups, cheacking my firewall, unintalling and reinstalling itunes, deleting pictures that may be corrupt. I just plugged my phone into a USB connected to my sisters MacBook and it backed up perfectly! Is this something wrong with my computer?
I have just upgraded to a 4s and i am trying to back up my iphone 4 before i swap the data after attemting to update to ios5 on my iphone 4 i get the error message 'unable to update my iphone as the firmware file is not compatible' what does this mean and what can i ndo to back up my phone?
this is annoying the hell out of me, i have sync only checked songs and videos is that whats causing it? i dont get it.is it possible to have the iphone not sync as soon i plug it in (if itunes is open)?
So, I am based in UK and managed to "Reserve and collect" a 32gb iPhone 4g. However, on my confirmation e-mail, at the bottom, it says: Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation is valid for pick-up only at the Apple Retail Store that you selected. If you do not collect your selected item on the specified date, your reservation will be cancelled and the item will be returned to stock.
My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.
We have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted. Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1
