I'm able to download the TD mobile banking app on my iPod Touch (just search for TD in the CDN app store), but it looks like TD just put up an iPhone-formatted web page and then framed it with an app around it.I'm wondering, is there any way to confirm this - to sniff out & find the URL of the page that the app is accessing? Cause then I'd be able to do mobile banking from my other non-iPhones too.My iPod is 2nd gen jailbroken if that helps.
Chase mobile banking no longer functions after 4.1.83 patch. I get Error message unable to log in at this time. Still works for iphone and ipad. This has been confirmed by others on android central?
Bank of America made changes to their server and thats when we started to have trouble. I just got off the phone with Bank Of America customer support and got no help at all they said Bank Of America didn't have any one to troubleshoot the mobile website. I told them that a lot of BlackBerry users were having trouble getting onto the mobile site and the guy said sorry we can't help you unless you are on a computer. That is just sorry of bank of America not to offer support.
We need to contact some one higher in the company to get some help so if you know some one please contact them this is retarded. Here is the latest when I try to log on to bank of America regular site / for security reasons your device can't access mobile banking. Two weeks ago I didn't have any trouble getting onto the Mobile site this is crazy.
I have read reports of Chase and Amex and I can personally verify that BOA no longer works. Do we know if Moto is aware and working on a fix? All worked correctly before.
I have tried multiple times to log in to my online banking site, but even though i am using the mobile banking format and I'm in landscape mode, I am unable to visualize the entire box which contains the random code and therefore it cannot log in. I can do so on my husbands HTC evo so is this a limitation of the display/screen size of the Motorola xprt? if so, this is not good. Something similar even on this site on the phone - the username and password fields are ok but there is a partial blockage/overlap for the log in button.so pressing this is tricky. Not sure which other sites may have similar issues.
The browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]
I have a new T-Mobile S6 Edge and love the phone, but one thing I have not figured out is why I still get background mobile data usage even though I have disabled mobile data and set "restrict background data". Both tuiService and OS services are downloading approximately 100K at a time periodically over mobile data throughout the day even though I have a wifi connection.
With Verizon offering mobile hotspot on the Palm PrePlus & I believe Google is including it on their next OS update (2.2) & Sprint including it on the EVO 4G, I'm wondering if Apple & AT&T would keep up by offering it on the new iPhone. The one reason I'd probably say no is the iPad 3G. Just wondering what you guys thought.
Obviously the usual jail breaking will occur when its released but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of or has proof of built-in mobile hot-spotting with OS 4.0?And if not, could it be one of the things that "won't disappoint" us on June 7th?
I have just bought an Iphone 4s from a friend. It is locked to t mobile and I would like to unlock it, I phoned t mobile twice and one person said that they do it for around 15pound whereas another lady said they'll do it for free but they need the original number it was bought with (I don't have that).
At this point in time, Verizon is becoming too expensive and i'm looking to move to T-Mobile. I plan to purchase an Unlocked iPhone 4S from the Apple website. I went to a T-Mobile store and a rep told me that they can configure something so i can send MMS messages. (I know i can't use visual voice mail and I'll be on the slower Edge network) But is the rep right? Would i be able to send MMS messages?Another question: Will iMessage still work? and if so, could i send photos over iMessage?
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
I went to update my iPhone in iTunes for the first time. I updated firmware. However it did a backup beforehand. Now several apps are missing. It was jailbroken and using apps like Cydia.
Also I cannot use the phone at all. I am not sure on how to proceed here. I have an iPhone with ATT and there is never a problem. Please help re: restoring apps and phone service. I would be extremely grateful.
I'm not really sure where mobile me falls in the macrumors forums hierarchy so I decided to post my question here as it most retains to the new iphone.
I was looking at the iphone 4 webpage and noted that under the notes feature it states this:
"Use Notes on iPhone to write yourself a quick note and keep important information on hand. Send notes to yourself or others via email and sync them back to your Mac or PC. If you use an IMAP account such as MobileMe, your notes can even sync over the air."
I'm going to be new to iphone but definitely want to sync my notes when I get the phone. Is this a known feature? If so, how do I sync my notes to my computer through mobile me?
Itīs possible now to track your iphone without jailbreaking! Go to http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/latit...2&affId=972145 and install "latitudie". Itīs only 2 bucks!
It works with Google Latitude. First of all you need to activatie Google Latitude. You can do this on http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/latitude/intro.html .When you enable Google Location History you can see where your phone was. You can also see where your phone is at the moment.
I don't like that my AIM shows that I'm on mobile when I use let's say IM+. Is there a way to just make it so my friends think I'm on regular AIM rather than mobile AIM?
I just got a new Iphone 4s.Is there any way to add 2 mobile numbers to one contact?Iīve read that others have the same problem and talk about a customized label but I donīt see such label on my phone.
