I haven't noticed this before when I upgraded an OS or changed iPhones - but perhaps someone else can confirm..I haven't emptied my trash (on a mac) since I upgraded to the iPhone 4. I just went to empty it and saw a bunch of apps (.ipa) in there. Now I checked and they all still seem to also be in the correct iTunes directory as well - so ultimately not worries. But just wondered how/why some (not all) apps wound up in the trash.
i noticed when i delete an email on my iphone, it doesn't show up in the trash like it would if you delete it on a computer. is there anyway around this?
Somewhere on my iPhone there is a folder that can be accessed to recover an accidentally deleted email. I know it is there but cannot find it now. I know this is not a difficult question, but my brain is fried now that I need to recover it.
I am using BB to connect to my Groupwise (IMAP) when an email is deleted off the Blackberry selecting "delete message - on Mailbox & on Handheld" the message is completely deleted from the Groupwise mailbox, it does not move to trash. Anyway, I can get around with it.
This is not covered in the Voicemail support, and when I searched Google for the string in the Subject of this post I got 0 relevant hits (closest match was how to restore a deleted email from Trash on an S4).
1) Tap the Voicemail icon on your home screens 2) Tap the Arrowhead icon on the right-hand side of the Inbox title bar (see attached image) to drop-down the Voicemail Folder Menu 3) Select the Trash folder (see attached image) 4) Select the Voicemail message you desire to recover 5) Tap the 3-dot icon for the Trash folder context menu in the lower-right corner (see attached image) 6) Choose Restore to Inbox from the menu (see attached image)
1. I Have to mail-Accounts set up on my E52 (one pop the other IMAP).Both have inbox, outbox and sent but no box for deleted objects. The German handbook does not say how to change that.
2. Since the last update (I guess) the phone deletes messages from the (POP- ) server when deleted on the phone. Is there any way to prevent the mail client on the phone to do that?
I let a friends little brother play with my phone on a spongebob app and when i came to check up on him, he deleted a bunch of my apps. I know that i can redownload them for free. The thing is that I don't remember the names of these apps that he deleted. Is there anyway I can see what apps he deleted.
I have formatted my pc, downloaded itunes and when I want to sync to itunes, I get a message that my current apps on the iphone 4 will be deleted as it is not in the library, how do I sync without losing my apps?
I have the Iphone 4 (not the 4s) and never had any problems. I share an ICloud account with my parents and sister, and now my iphone is saying I have no storage. I deleted all my pictures and a majority of my apps and it still won't let me take any pictures, purchase any apps, or update my phone because I have no storage.
I accidentallly deleted a couple of Apps (e.g. Delta, Redbox) from my Desktop on Iphone. How do I recover them. Whenever I tried to re-install, the app said Installed.
I accidentally erased and deleted all data from my iphone. In the process all the built in apps dissapeard so I now have a blank homescreen. Is there a way I can restore/download the built in apps via itunes?
My iPhone 5 randomly deleted every app after it ran out of battery - but when I check the storage it only has 212mb available... What's going on?! Where did my apps go? I can't even redownload as the phone flags up there's no available storage space!
I had copied some of the photos from my pc to iphone. But those photos folder were deleted from my pc.Now whenever i connect my phone to itunes it asks me to sync the iphone . I am afraid that those photos will be deleted if i sync my iphone since iphone keep only those photos which are present in camera roll.
I got my iPhone 4s last September and since then I've updated the firmware twice hoping that would solve the problem but it didn't. When I hold an app to delete it, it does start to wriggle immediately but when I press the delete button it takes more than 15 seconds for the are you sure message to pop up. I don't normally delete apps so I keep forgetting that that bug is there but when I do delete apps its when I urgently need space to take a video or something so when it takes me over ten minutes to just delete a couple of apps and yes it doesn't happen for just one delete it happens for each delete. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 the freeze time decreased a bit to 15-30 seconds it used to be longer but I could really use a permenant fix for this.

My wife and I are on the same AT&T account. After she updated her phone her text messages are being coppied to my phone. One other thing, in the imessage settings her phone number says "error" on it. Whats going on?
I had about 10 GB of photos on my iPhone and the iTunes backup kept getting errors. So I plugged in my iPhone, browsed to it in Windows Explorer, and copied the folders inside DCIM to my PC. I then change phones and copied the photos back into the DCIM folder on the new phone. They show up fine on my new phone. Now, this 2nd phone is having issues and I want to copy the photos back to my computer to copy to another new phone. If I open the DCIM folder, I see a bunch of files called Local Disk and only about 60 photos (new photos I took with the phone), and none of them are the photos that I copied onto the phone earlier. I did an iTunes backup without errors, but it only backed up those 60 photos. It's like Windows and iTunes don't even see the other 10 GB of photos, even though I can still see them on iPhone.Â
How can I get these photos copied off my iPhone to my PC?
I have text messages stored on the iphone. Does anybody know how to copy text messages and then send them to the iMac, so that the text message can be used in another format, such as Pages or another word type document ? ...OR ... is there a method for copying text messages and pasting them to another format so that all the data is retrieved ? ie : such as sender, body of message, recipient, date, time, etc ..
I copied a CD to iTunes. When I try to add the new music to my iPhone iTunes threatens to remove all of the existing music on the iPhone. The same thing happens if I try manual mode.
iPhone 5 not giving back my storage space even when I have deleted music and apps still says 0 bytes available also the phone will not connect to iTunes. What it could be also some of my apps are not loading...
My mum has had her o2 iPhone unlocked for me and has received a text from o2 as confirmation. When I put my vodafone si Card into the phone it doesn't appear to recognise it, I can't make calls and my contacts haven't been copied over. Also the cellular data is still o2.
Recently I started using my iPhone on a new iTunes on my laptop. I have been getting songs and using the autofill button to sync all the new songs I am downloading. However, after I downloaded one song and I pressed the autofill button, iTunes gave me a message that read, "iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPhone "____'s iPhone" because no songs in the iTunes library can be copied to this iPhone."
I spent hours cropping pictures on my iPhone using it's built in editing feature and I "saved" every single one. Plugged in my iPhone to my Ultrabook to copy them and NONE of them have retained any of the edits I made. ALL the pictures I cropped are back to their original picture size. Why aren't the edits I made on the photos applied to them when I import them to my computer? And why does my iPhone ask me to "save" after I make changes if it doesn't really save them?
