Aug 30, 2014I have a 32gig iPhone4 that I purchased second hand. Recently I knocked it into the toilet...I turned it off straight away, left it to dry.Â
After 5 days drying I gave it a full charge, turned it on and the display was all sketchy. I've kept trying with it, realised that the display would function fine at times so have I put it in recovery mode, factory reset it and managed to get it out of recovery mode. Â
I'm back at a fresh start, however when trying to activate the handset via iTunes I keep getting the same error....'0xE8000004'. How I can get this phone back up and running?Â

Jan 26, 2010So I am brand new to the Iphone/Ipod world. I have a friend who upgraded to the 3g phone a few months ago. He recently gave me his original iphone as a thank you for some things I helped him with. What should I do to get the phone to work as an ITouch? It wants me to insert a sim or connect to itunes. What are the steps to get this to work, any help is greatly appreciated, I am totally lost.

Sep 8, 2010I know that iTouch will utilizes email for facetime. My question is will it require me to put 4.1 on my JB iPhone to use that feature to facetime with my son when he gets his new iTouch. I synced all of my music/apps etc onto my itunes library. when i plugged my iphone in, the apps immediately started to download (theres about 40 or so)So then i just got rid of apps that were on the library (i have 5 on my iphone atm)

During the beginning of the setup process in iTunes, after registering the new iPhone with APPLE, when I am asked to set it up as new iPhone, or to restore it from my previous iTouch backup, which do I choose? It isn't clear to me, and I can't find the answer anywhere. If I choose to set it up as a new iPhone, will I lose all my apps and all my previous settings (and start over)? Jun 9, 2012I recently purchased a new windows laptop, i have a 3GS and itouch 4 generation. I installed itunes onto my new HP laptop and i connected my itouch first to transfer my purhcases. But i thought after authorizing the itunes would make it to where i didnt have to erase it when i hook it up to the new computer. Friends and family memebers of mine have itunes and apple devices too and they mentioned that they didn't have to erase either their ipod, iphone, or ipad when they hook up to a different computer. MIne however, says " this ipod/iphone can only be synced with one computer at a time" and it gives me the options to : cancel, erase and sync, and transfer purchases. Now i already transferred my music and most of my apps onto my new laptop. BUT, im worried about my iphone losing all of its contacts. If anyone can help me mess with the sync settings to where i can back up my ipod and iphone data onto my new laptop that would be great!

May 11, 2010Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?

Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation is valid for pick-up only at the Apple Retail Store that you selected. If you do not collect your selected item on the specified date, your reservation will be cancelled and the item will be returned to stock.
My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.
