I forget whether or not pre orders happen the same day as the official announcement does? I remember a couple years ago that was the case, what about last year? I think this year i will definitely be pre ordering and just wanted to get an idea of when that may be the case.

I just called to confirm what # in the pre order line I was and they told me 24 then i asked if they knew how many iPhones they were getting and they said that they are no longer getting it in June, but in July now because of the shortages Apple and ATT have, stores like Walmart, RadioShack, BB had their stock cut for launch day.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI gave my info to a local Radio Shack rep to call me when she had more info on preorders and while it is in the news everywhere that Radio Shack, Best Buy and ATT are going to be taking orders, this person claims no one is.
She claims she just got out of a meeting with her regional manager who just finished speaking with their corporate team and Apple. No stores are allow to take "PRE ORDERS!" What they are doing is giving out a unique number to each customer generated supposedly by Apple which puts you in a line to get one at that location and determines how many are sent to each location.
Can anyone verify this info? It sounds like BS to me but bottom line she isnt taking preorders!
All of a sudden I can no longer get my email to update on the IPhone. I continue to get this message: Cannot get Mail, The mail server "imap.aol.com" is not responding. Verify you have entered correct account information in mail settings. I have done this many times, everything in settings looks ok but my mail still will not refresh.

My phone has said for a long time now that I don't have enough storage and it can't be backed up. But, just recently it has gotten to the point where I can't take any videos whatsoever. So, tonight I decided to put all of my pictures onto my computer, as well as an app called Shoebox on my phone and then deleted all my pictures. I also deleted about 5 apps. However, I do not know how to tell if I have enough storage now or not or if there is a way to refresh it so it takes some away from the things I deleted. It still will not let me back anything up to icloud either. What do I do?!

I have a Curve 9300 on the UK o2 network.
I have recently upgraded to OS6 and had a couple of small issues, firstly my app world disappeared I just uninstalled and reinstalled and this sorted that. I have an issue with my Facebook notifications, I can't set a personal tone for that, will try reinstalling that too.
Is there a refresh GPS option somewhere on the Options? I can't find it in the OS6 options like I did in OS5. The reason I ask is that trying to get GPS on the Maps or setting up my GPS running app it never connects.

I use it for running (with Runtastic) and my gps track It is always shorter than the other (4/5%).
I noticed that in bends the track is cut as if the refresh signal is too slow...
i am having problems refreshing podcasts on my x6. last night i tried to add 3 podcasts ( they are bbc ones which i have subscribed to weekly for years). even though they all show up when the phone is connected to the computer . the library doesnt seem to recognise them !!. I have tried to delete the old folder on my phone as wondered if that might help. but have an error message 'general system error.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?

They all failed to refresh. I found out when I went to go download something to no avail.
I wanted to add just one new song onto my N97, it was a song that I heard on the radio and liked so I purchased it on iTunes added it to a playlist and transferred it to my N97 using NMT. This all went fine until I tried refreshing the music library, no matter what I did the refresh would not find the additional song. I checked the transfer using YBrowser and sure enough the song had been transferred and the playlist had the new song added (I could even play it in the file browser) but this would not update in the music player.
To resolve this I had to delete all 4.7GB of music off my N97 (including the playlists) using NMT then disconnect the phone and refresh the library, the music library then displayed 0 songs. Then using NMT I had to reload all of the music and refresh the library, this time it worked. As you can imagine deleting and reloading 4.7GB (thankfully I don't have more music on my phone) of data takes quite a bit of time, all to add just one new 8MB song. Outrageous!
Has anyone else experienced this?

Since then, I've added some music to the server and wanted to use the program to transfer them to my phone. I conneceted to the server with the program, but the folders were not listed. I've looked a refresh setting, but could not found one.

View 5 Replies View Relatedmy iphone 3gs only have 8 standard apps. my other standard apps got deleted after i got the message: the iphone do not have enough memory, you can manage the memory in settings. with 2 options: ok and settings.so i pressed settings, but the phone didn't go to settings it rebooted instead and when it started it only had these 8 apps: newsstand, voice memos, videos, stocks, reminders, weather, Internet and settings.

1) loaded current PC Suite.
2) It successfully found my phone and my bluetooth connection.
3) It asked me to download and install OVI. I did so, but it failed.
4) The program read my address book successfully.
5) It tried to refresh the contents and failed.
6) It failed backup suggesting I reconnec the phone and try again. This doesn't work.
7) It doesn't find pictures on my camera to upload.
8) The program locks if I try to go to Settings.
9) The program is also extremely slow opening up any application.
10) It won't let me edit contacts.
This thing just isn't working. I'm running Windows XP home on a Dell Dimension E520
