IPhone :: Pics And Screens No Longer Rotate After IOS 5.1 Upgrade?
May 12, 2012My screen doesn't rotate any more at all. It stays fixed since the upgraded to 5.1.1. How can I fix this?

Oct 24, 2012I have auto-rotate checked in the display settings. When I slide out the keyboard or plug into the HD Dock the screen auto-rotates to landscape. This makes sense. However, at all other times the screen is locked in portrait. How do I enable auto rotate of the main/home screen without having to slide the keyboard out?

Nov 15, 2013My HTC One has recently updated to Android 4.3 + sense 5.5 and I find I can no longer use different wallpapers for my lock screen and home screen as I could previously. The facility apparently no longer exists. Yes, I know I can use a third party app like widget locker but why should I when the facility already existed. What is it these days that developers remove useful functions just because they see fit. Is this really progress? I lost my phone some weeks ago and because I had put my contact details on the lock screen + I.C.E details with a self-made wallpaper, my phone was returned to me within 3 hours of the loss.

Dec 25, 2012I've had my Lumia 920 for about a month now - it is a German Vodafone model. As of today while I was out at work I went to use it to send a text and they keyboard would no longer change orientation when I flipped the phone sideways. Nothing would rotate anymore, photos, web pages; its as if the rotation setting is not working. I looked to find one but I can't. I've heard a few issues on various forums like WPcentral about this and that it might be a software bug, and a search of this forum has another user whose rotation doesn't work, but I don't know why this would have just started, and I've tried hard resets and soft resets and nothing seems to fix it.I would really like some information about this or a possible fix, as this is really killing the useability of the phone - that along with the random restarts which happen several times a day on average.

Feb 4, 2010As the title says all my images and videos are now no longer within the captured folder when you go into photo's, I have tried deleting all of the _PAlbTN folders, also factory reset the device, still nothing there, any ideas on what I can do to get these back in the captured folder?Otherwise it seems a pointless feature if every firmware update you lose all the data captured over the months since the last update, I have also tried copying all in the camera album over to the PC and put back onto the phone mass memory.It's doing my head in now, I have trawled the forums to find information but nothing. I have a lot of other items on my mass memory which I have accumilated from over the years and transferred to each new phone I get, got something in the region of 2500 images and videos, on the mass memory stored in the traditional way, where E is the mass memory etc:

Do the files (images and videos) get assigned new tags to allow it to identify them as being taken on the device, my viewby month folder is also not working.

Oct 18, 2010My clock feature used to automatically switch on when I plugged in my BB at night.The alarm clock function would stay in night mode all night so I could periodically check the time without pressing any button.After the upgrade the phone no longer switches into clock mode when I plug even though the clock setting is set to "display clock".If I go to the menu and press on the clock, the time shows and alarm is set and continues to function as an alarm. However, the screen blacks out so I am unable to see what time it is.Needless to say I have tried every setting I can think of including rebooting.I am considering a wipe but I am not sure if that will work either.Any know issues with the alarm clock with this upgrade?

Jul 8, 2012I'm using the Google music player with songs stored on my SD card in a directory I created (MyMusic"artists""albums") and they are in MP3 format (copied to desktop using RealPlayer). Prior to ICS, no problems and all was fine. After I upgraded to ICS, now when I look under Artists they all display however when I display Albums only 4 show: Unknown album/Ozzy Osbourne, Unknown album/Unknown artists, comedy cuts/Unknown artist and notifications/Paul Oakenfold. If I select an artist to play, it ends up playing all songs as the majority of the music now appears under the first album above. I trying to find an index file or something that may have gotten corrupt to delete but no luck. All songs play fine, just lost the ability to organize these as they appear on the SD card.
