Worked fine all day up until 4pm. I clicked the home button and noticed the weather info on the lockscreen wasnt showing up so i click the tap to unlock and it froze. Waited 5-6 minutes while it stayed on this screen and then i manually turned the phone off. Now when i try to turn it on the apple logo pops up for 10-15 seconds and then disappears and nothing happens. I just plugged it into the comp now and apple logo again popped up and then gone. Phone has 3.1.2 still installed as i never upgraded. Not sure if the site is up for my to grab my 3.1.2 file or not. Any way to get this back up and going with out upgrading to 3.1.3? If not, then its no biggie and i'll upgrade. Just trying to get it back on 3.1.2 so i dont have to lose the themes and apps that ive paid for from Rock/cydia
I washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.
Info: MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Trackpad pointer
I bought my bold 9900 yesterday it have some problem with wifi connect..when turn off WIFI connected ---> my phone turn off..I try up Os ( Bell ins. ) for it but no have change Bold 9900 : vendor 331.
So my phone s5 was updated to lollipop, I was just finished downloading 2 songs then i saw the screen turns yellowish. I thought it was nothing so i turn off my power after I tried to open up again it didn't. When I pressed the power key it shows a broken half white thing so fast and it disappear till now my phone won't open. I tried charge it but useless..
I bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.
while my iphone in charging, suddenly turn off and start to turn on and turn off Automatically. After that i restore to ios 5.0.1 i see no wi-fi no besband and just work 5 minuts and will turn off.please help me.my iphone 3 Gs locked
So as well all know, AT&T uses a ridiculous set of cellular frequencies that not only produces a lower signal (compared to Verizon,) but also puts a lovey "DA DA, DA DA, DAT DAT DAT DAAAA!!!!" sound in my speakers! (GSM interference) I've tried the tricks with the little things you put on your speaker cables to catch the stray RF noise but they did not help and I am SICK of this stupid sound that gets transmitted into every set of speakers I have.
The only way to fix this is to shut off the cellular network by putting the iPhone into airplane mode. Then, I can play music from my iPod and not have the stupid interference playing as well. The only problem is, now I can't stream online music like Pandora, etc because Airplane mode shuts off my WiFi? So is there any way I can shut off the phone, but leave on the WiFi?
Is there a way to turn off all calls and texts but keep the data option on, for streaming music specifically. I need to be able to steam music but without interuption from calls or texts.
I get this message periodically when I turn on my phone. What does it mean and how to I get rid of it? None of my friends with iPhones get this message. I have iCloud backup turned on in my setting.
I want to turn off phone calls/texts but still be able to use 3G and/or GPS on my iPhone 4S."use airplane mode" or "put it on silent". That won't work. When I'm running I'm using Nike+ GPS or Runkeeper. These apps use the 3G and GPS connection so Airplane mode is not an option. Airplane mode stops my GPS and 3G connection from working.
Putting my phone on silent does not help. It interrupts the music and vibrates in my pocket. If I turn off vibrate then my doesn't vibrate but it still interrupts the music. The music will fade out and the phone will "silently" be ringing until it goes to voicemail and then the music fade back in. Plus, if I get a text message then the phone will fade out the music for just a second and then back again even if I have it on silent mode. I don't want that. Its a disruption I would rather not have. I want to recieve no communications while I'm running but still be able to use my phone's GPS/3G connection for Nike+ and/or Runkeeper.
I need an option that just turns off phone calls and text messages temporaily while I'm running without turning off GPS and 3G. I wish Apple would add an option in settings to turn off Text Messaging and incoming Phone Calls seperatley from everything else. This could useful since we use our phones for so much more than talking these days.
today listening to my iPhone at the beach, a huge wave clobbered me. I grabbed it from the water as quickly as I could find it and dried it off asap. I tried to turn it off to keep it from shorting out, but it won't. I have it in a ziploc baggy with 2 pouches of industrial size bags of silica, but every time I try to turn it off it looks like it is powering down and then restarts itself.
for a couple of weeks now the connection on my iPhone 5 has been bad when trying to charge. It would constantly connect and then disconnect straight away until you got it into a very still position where the cable or the phone would not be touched. Now the phone has stopped charging altogether. I have checked the charging port to see if there is any lint but there is none in there. The strange thing is that if you turn the phone off, and then plug the cable into the phone it recognize it and then will turn on.I have got a genius bar appointment in the next couple of days but will have to go without a phone until then, and it is also out of warranty so I assume apple will try to make me pay for it if it needs fixing. Â
My phone was being slow so I thought if I turned it on and off again it would work alright again..Obviously I was wrong as when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened except come up with the apple logo. Now it's frozen on the apple logo. do I need to take it into an Apple Store for repair?
