Google Nexus 5 :: Phone Locked When Try To Answer Call - Go To Themes Menu To Reset
May 9, 2014When trying to answer a call on my Nexus5 and it is locked . It will let me send text messages ( I am driving , etc) but will not let me answer the phone. Insufficient resources go to theme menu and reset. I cannot find a theme menu anywhere. Not in settings, nor elsewhere, any way other than factory reset?

Nokia :: Settings Menu Locked Up Problem?
Aug 9, 2010I have a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. And I have a problem with it. When I tap into "Menu-Settings-Connectivity" and try to exit from there my "Settings" menu locked up. It shows that "Settings" menu always running background. And I can't tap anymore "Settings" menu until restart my phone. How can I resolve this problem?

Jul 2, 2012My menu button loads my 'phone' and not the menu for the phone. I cannot access the menu that includes: hide, move, open tray etc. I cleaned up the phone and uploaded the newest software via the BB desktop application software. I ended up cleaning it up so well it seemed to go back to factory settings as I lost all my apps. It seemed to solve the problem though and I got my menu button to work properly again. I have since uploaded App World and a new theme. The button still worked properly for 24 hours. Today, I turn it on and all is working well but the menu button loads my phone again. Do you understand that the menu does not load, but rather the 'phone' menu pops up as though I'd pressed the phone icon. I wonder if the 'flex ribbon cable' underneath the buttons is misaligned somehow and when I press the menu key, it is loading the green telephone key menu because of malfunction of the ribbon.

Jul 20, 2014My Dad's HTC One M7 is stuck in the bootloader screen and is unable to boot to the main OS.
The phone has never been unlocked or rooted, I've never even seen the bootloader screen until now. The first thing it says in the bootloader screen is ****LOCKED****.
The only information I know is that prior to this, he was prompted for a system update which (he says!) looked official.
I've tried every option in the boot menu (fastboot, bootloader, recovery, recovery reset) and it just goes back to the main screen.
Is there a key combination that I'm missing? Was the system upgrade corrupt? I know next to nothing about Android bootloaders.
I have tried Googling for hours but all the results are from people trying to load a custom ROM or unlocking the bootloader - nothing about a 'normal' installation.

Jun 25, 2010My phone was activated and unlocked. I had to run it on blackra1n everytime I connected my phone to the computer. But it was fine. I was able to use an unregistered sim without a data plan. And then I accidentally upgraded.
I’ve tried restoring it with various custom IPSW files from different programs (I’ve even tried 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and IOS 4) but my phone refuses to restore or restore unlocked. It still keeps asking for a valid sim. Sometimes, iTunes tells me that the “device isn’t eligible for the requested build”. I can’t use redsn0w because no matter what IPSW I try to use with it, it cannot be recognized. Sn0wbreeze did not work either. I’ve tried on both a MAC and a PC.According to forecast, my phone can be jailbroken but not unlocked. Bootloader is 6.4.

Mar 4, 2010So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?

Yet, after I had disabled Siri, set the screen to lock, plus I had the code protection in place, Siri would still start up and dial phone numbers.Â
The only solution, that I have found in this forum, is to enable Siri, enable code protection and then disable Siri in the code protection menu. This is not acceptable.Â

In the olden days of OS7 and prior, if I were listening to music while the iphone was locked and received a phone call, the music would resume playing after the call was completed. Since OS8, that does not happen anymore.  Now, if I am listening to a music App and receive a phone call while the iphone is in lock mode, I have to unlock the iphone and restart the music App.Â
This is particularly annoying while listening to music in the car and not being able to restart the App while driving.

Nov 27, 2015i am locked out my samsung galaxy s5 phone. i went on the android device manager web and tried to do the whole step until i realized the location on my phone is off. so everytime i reset the password instead of getting the black screen and asked for a pin it keeps asking me for alternate password.i really dont want to do factory reset and lose all the pic memories i made with my kids and family.
