So AT&T finally got my iphone 4 unlocked. I've restored it (and updated the iOS to 5.1.1 in the process) and recieved the "congrats! your Iphone is unlocked" message.
However, when I insert my local carrier's sim, I get not signal. I tried it with two diffrent sim either.. My modem firmware is 04.12.01.

View 1 Replies View Relatedrecently got moved to kuwait and wanted to keep using my blackberry storm 2. so i got the unlock code and unlocked it. after that i got a pre-paid SIM and phone and sms works great, connected to 3g and everything but anytime i try to use something that requires internet it says i need a wifi connection to do that. when i got the pre-paid the guy at the phone shop said it would work with blackberry internet and email. is there a setting i'm missing?

It seems to work periodically at random, but only has 1 or 2 bars where I should normally have full service.

Recently, my iPhone has been having some service issue and it is not AT&T's problem. At home for example I always used to have 5 bars, but now the service will show no service and then 10 minutes it will show up all 5 bars then soon no service. This happens to me in many places.

I've recently moved from Orange to O2 and my iPhone 3GS doesn't recognise the new O2 SIM card. Orange told me that they would send me an unlock code from Apple a month ago. Talked to Orange today and they say I need to get it from O2 but O2 say that's not the case.

I am using the blackberry service using a GSM service provider, I would like to switch to a new GSM service provider. When I switch the SIM card the handset ask for blackberry ID and password, on entering the details it says invalid Blackberry ID. Can I just use another BB handset and use the new SIM to route all my emails and BB messenger to the new handset.

It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

They told me there, that i can't use my iPhone with my German card because it have an simlock.When i pay Money, they can send the IMEI to Apple and i can unlock my iPhone. So i did. They said also, that i have to wait at least a week till ten days. So, thats the 15th day and i'm Angry that i cant put till now my card. View 10 Replies View RelatedI am without service after IOS 5.1. Since the upgrade, my phone can't make or receive any call. I bought it from my mobile operator (Claro Brasil) itself. The odd thing is that when I use the SIM of my brother (from another provider - TIM) the phone works perfectly. I called to Claro and they said everything is fine with my network and that they will open a procedure to see what can be done. I think they don't know what is happening and I can't wait much longer.
