my laptop (running 10.7.3) and iPhone (running version 5.5.1) don't connect properly via Bluetooth. I can pair them OK, but when I try and browse the phone from the computer, I get the message "This device does not have the necessary services". I have Bluetooth sharing turned on in System Preferences.

I updated my software on my IMAC to Snow leopard. Yes I know I am behind. View 4 Replies View RelatedApparently I lack sufficient brainpower to do something that, in my small feeble mind, I assumed would be easy: connect my Nexus 5 to a Windows 7 PC via Bluetooth so that I can access the storage files on my Nexus. Very specific, very simple, yet it does not work. I have searched everywhere, and I do not need a tutorial on how to pair them. I have them paired. That pairing does not do anything, it has no function.
On my Nexus 5, it says it is paired to my PC. On my PC, I have a fugly *** Nokia-esque icon that has "Nexus 5" under icon listed under Bluetooth Devices. I do not understand what else I need to do?
P.S. How do I find "Bluetooth drivers"? Windows update has no clue WTF to do, and like I said, I am retarded and lack basic reading comprehension since I cannot find any information that is relevant through searching online.
just wanted to report that i was able to browse the filesystem and microSD card in my Telus Motorola V750 with bluetooth using "out of the box" Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx).this is new in Ubuntu 10.04, as i have not been able to do this with previous versions of ubuntu and this phone (my k1m worked ok with Intrepid Ibex). i have not tried bitpim or any of the other available linux phone tools, but i was able browse my music, photos, and videos and copy them over to my computer. i was also able to push an mp3 file over from my computer to the phone where i was able to listen to it.
so just a heads up if you are interested in trying this. I am happy to not have to pop the sd card out to transfer photos anymore.
I have a iPhone 3G.So I made the mistake of upgrading to 3.1.3 firmware, I had unlocked and jailbroken with Cydia and Blackra1n. So i waited a while until there was some ways to do it to 3.1.3 and used Redsn0w to jailbrake which worked and tried to unlock with Sn0wbreeze and it didn't work, I then turned the phone off and the next day I have turned it on and I think its bricked. It just has the sn0wbreeze symbol, computer wont recognize its plugged in and I have held down hold and home to rest and it does nothing.

I transferred pictures and music. Both worked and showed up on the phone. I did this until the battery died and plugged it in to do a full charge. After charging, the pictures I had transferred were still in the picture file, but the music did not show up in the music file. When I connected to my mac again the music file shows that the music is still on the phone, according to the computer, but the file on the phone says no music. What do I need to do? Where is the music?

A while back, I was able to go to iTunes and click a power search button and was able to click a box that said 'free apps only' and browse all free game apps or all free weather apps etc. Now it only let's me view the top 100 in each category. How can I browse for free apps without those free apps mixed in with the paid apps?

We know for a fact that the iPhone can technically run Flash. We don't know if it can run in Safari. We also don't know if Apple is willing to support Flash from a business ($$$) standpoint.
