I cannot find my iphone and ipad in itunes after I installed snow leopard. I've gone through the trouble shooter but I can't find the problem.

I updated my software on my IMAC to Snow leopard. Yes I know I am behind. I will eventually update it to Lion like my macbook has, however ever since I installed the new software and I installed norton Anti-Virus, my IMAC reads my IPHONE as a camera. It automatically opens IPhoto, but it will not sync with ITUNES. how I can get my ITUNES to recognize my IPHONE?

I can pair them OK, but when I try and browse the phone from the computer, I get the message "This device does not have the necessary services". I have Bluetooth sharing turned on in System Preferences.

just bought an iphone 4, finally could afford upgrading to one...went home and plugged it in to itunes, and now i find out i cannot sync it with my computer because I am running osx tiger, and leopard is required. Geez, i dont really have $150+ to go buy the new OS. Does anyone have a leopard disc they can lend me?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a iPhone 3G.So I made the mistake of upgrading to 3.1.3 firmware, I had unlocked and jailbroken with Cydia and Blackra1n. So i waited a while until there was some ways to do it to 3.1.3 and used Redsn0w to jailbrake which worked and tried to unlock with Sn0wbreeze and it didn't work, I then turned the phone off and the next day I have turned it on and I think its bricked. It just has the sn0wbreeze symbol, computer wont recognize its plugged in and I have held down hold and home to rest and it does nothing.

Over time, the system will run slower with lots of junk in it. Since some apps with expiry date, it must leave something behind to keep track of when it will expire. I have an iPhone 5s 16GB that has been installing the new iOS 8 update (8.1.2 I believe?). After being prompted to install the update, I agreed to the terms & conditions and hit "install." After seemingly flying through the first 9/10ths of the update, the progress bar under the Apple logo has not moved for a solid few hours now. I have not had this problem with previous updates. Is there any action that I should/can take without wiping everything from the phone?

View 24 Replies View RelatedIf i had the money to buy an iPad id want to put it into my dashboard of my car. That would have been a better idea for apple to market the iPad. That way you can have a music player, gps, maps, watch videos, not sure what else but on a big screen like that in the car would be nice. I think iphone and ipod touch are too small to use in the car. I dont know why apple didnt think of doing this in the first place. Be able to put it and detatch it from the dashboard cuz you wouldnt wanna leave it in the car. Another good thing to use it as would be like an mpc with intua beatmaker app if you make music. It would be way cheaper than buying an mpc. What would be some other good uses for it?
