I have a iphone 4s unlocked and im using it with tmobile.. why am i not allowed to send mms messages and recieve mms messages without using imessage ?for example if i want to send a picture message to a blackberry it would go through but it would say picture is too large to open or the other person wont recieve it. how can i fix this?

I have a Nokia E71 just update to the firmware 410.21.010. I did not recovered backup after the upgrade and I formatted the memory card, so it's completely clean.
Now, Nokia Email has appear as new included application so I would like to use it, but when I configure my email account (form a supported services: ovi, gmail, etc...), the wizard only configures my mobile for the typical IMAP client. It's strange, because I have a different E71 also update to this same firmare and Nokia Messaging works fine and creates the Nokia Messaging account.How could use Nokia Messaging with my E71?. Is there some way to create a Nokia Messaging account form the web instead from the phone?.
I am trying to send a picture through text messaging to a Microsoft Windows cell phone, however, the Windows cell phone does not receive the picture. They are able to receive text messages but not any pictures.Â

View 21 Replies View RelatedI have an unusual issue I would like some assistance on since I just got a blackberry, I have the Curve 2 8530. I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
how to turn off text messaging on the phone? We are leaving the country, taking my phone, and don't want to get charged for text messages coming through.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that if Nokia Messaging is running on my N97 mini, using the "Internet" connection, it's impossible to use te the same time phone's modem, trying to connect to the Internet through a PC. In this case an error 734 is issued by WIndows (PPP connection terminated). The trick is to disconnect Nokia messaging; doing so will lead to a successful connection from the PC.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter rebooting my phone last night all the existing messages and phone logs show only the numbers and no names or photos. When I go into the contacts I can see the contacts and numbers but there is no link between the contacts and the messaging or phone app.

Z5 Compact. For some reason, the text input field in the Messaging app keeps disappearing. I can be texting someone back and forth and then, completely at random, the text input field at the bottom vanishes making it impossible to return a text.

Only solution I have found to this issue is to restart the phone and the Messaging app goes back to normal. Phone has been fantastic other than this and would be super if I could get this very annoying issue sorted.
I can't creat an account with Nokia Messaging, each time i go to the site i enter my mobile phone & select my mobile i see a message saying your phone has the updated software. my mobile is E72.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just bought a Nokia 5800 handset recently. It seems to me that even though I actually saved a contact's number in my phone, when he messages me the phone inbox only shows his number and not his name, even though I already saved his number under my phonebook.
Is there anyway to solve this such that it'll display his name instead? Its kind of pointless if I have to keep checking back to my phonebook to see who has messaged me, since I don't remember my friend's numbers and stuff.
On a note I saved all of my friend's number without the region number. That is as im living in Singapore, a contact's number would be saved as follows: 91234567 without the region code of +65. Thing is in my inbox all the phone number displayed shows the region code of +65 along with the number, but seriously even my super old phone can recognise that both 91234567 and +6591234567 are of the same person and displays the name correctly in the inbox.
I have an iphone 4 and a new iPod Touch. I would like to message from one to the other.
When we try it from iPod to iPhone, the iPod indicates the iPhone is not registered with iMessage. I am not sure what to do with this.
When I try the other way, I cannot get access to email addresses.

My issue is i have been able to received mms from my contacts, however when i myself try to send one it comes up with an "error: please try again". The only thing is once i turn imessage on and send the picture it then works.

I started using my new iphone 4s yesterday but can not send any text messages to my contacts. I mannaged to get an iMessage to another iphone user but normal text messages to anyone who is not using iMessage won't go through. I have tried switching the phone off, taking out the sim, and a few other things in settings, but so far nothing has worked. Should the numbers in my contacts all include country code perhaps? I have two phones, one that I need to send back to apple and its replacement. I did a clean JB install on the new phone. I was wrongly under the impression that ANY restore, even from a backup, would kill the JB. so I saved my contacts, calendar, call history, and texting, files from the old phone to my desktop via SSH (ifunbox). Then I “ported” those saved files onto the new phone. Later I discovered that the phone app would not open, just kept crashing. While I could not open the phone app, I was able to receive calls, however, I had no phone tools like speaker phone or mute. I replaced the contact and call history files again (copied from the old phone) and that fixed the problem, although the contacts are now sorted by last name instead of first name which kinds sucks... Now I discovered that the messaging app crashes when I hit send. It will open fine, and it has all my texts in it, but crashes when I hit send. I just had a friend text me and I did not get the text.
Here is what I think I did wrong: I think, although I cannot be certain, that I may have put the files into the wrong directory. That is, I may have put them into var/mobile/library instead of private/var/mobile/library. The messaging app still works in the old phone, albeit without a sim card in it. I suppose I should just copy both these files again from the old phone and put them onto the new one, but since I am new at this, and do not have my ECID stored on cydia, I need to be VERY careful not to screw things up AGAIN lol or it will be 3.1.3 for me . So I need someone experienced to tell me how to best proceed??
How to Group message with iPhone users. I can send a group message two 2 iPhone users and they receive it but I never get their reply. I have had my galaxy for 8 days and I am going to return if I can't solve this. I really like this phone but I have to have group messaging.
