Where is the mic on the messaging keyboard on the LG G4? I use that feature on my Samsung Galaxy s4 often. I am having withdrawls and can not find it anywhere.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd been sending text messages during the evening, then I went to reply to a text as normal and the keyboard had changed without me doing anything? It changed from the normal "qwerty" keyboard to the old style keyboard, with the abc on button "a", def on button "b", ghi on button "c" if that makes sense, like on old phones? It was like that all night. Switched my phone off at night as normal, switched it back on again in the morning and it was back to the "qwerty" keyboard again. Does anyone know what caused this to happen, it was really strange!!And I quite liked that old style keyboard, I dont know what the technical term for it is, but it was much quicker and less mistakes typing a message than the qwerty keyboard?

Suddenly my mail window shows only in landscape orientation, and if I try to type a new message the keyboard comes up portrait on the lefthand side. I don't recall doing anything to cause this. It is an iPhone 5s, IOS 8.1.2

I dropped my iPhone (from about 4 ft on to carpet, no big deal) but now the orientation is stuck and it won't rotate into any other views. It acts as if it is constantly being held upside down so that the home button is at the top. It won't switch into landscape or into normal portrait. I have to constantly flip my phone upside down anytime I'm using an app that rotates like FaceTime. It's like the accelerometer can't register the correct direction I'm holding the phone. Same problem when I play games that use phone tilt, the phone is constantly titled to one side an stuck there. I need to reset the accelerometer or recalibrate it at least. I tried resetting all settings, closing all apps, turning the phone off, turning on and off the rotation lock, nothing fixes it?!?!?!

On my iPhone 4S the Answer button is on the right and the Reject button is on the left when I receive calls. I would like to reverse the orientation. How can I do that?

Both of those KEY features are missing. Orientation lock should have been there since day one, but you have to pay 200 dollars + 2 years of contract to enable it apparently. What is the reason for not including wallpapers?, or even orientation lock (one of the most requested features)?..They could easily have included the orientation lock "panel" without showing the app switcher. At least they could have included orientation lock in the Settings application!http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.htmlIf you really want to get their attention: (free developer account required)

View 4 Replies View Relatedconsider releasing a Screen Orientation Lock and Screenshot App?
These are basic features that Microsoft forgot to implement because they were all busy with the Smartglass App that just came out and everyone was just super excited! I know that these apps are possible, some apps on marketplace have their own screenshot feature. On developer unlocked phones they can lock screen orientation.
I have seen some similar postings in the Droid forum, but thought I should pose the query here to see if anybody else is experiencing the same problem. When Orientation is checked in Settings... Display, the orientation of the screen switches from portrait to landscape with the rotation of the phone in most applications. When Orientation is unchecked in Settings... Display, the orientation of the screen remains fixed in portrait in most applications.Annoyingly, there are some exceptions to this. When disabled, there are some apps that STILL go to landscape view when there is minor jolting to the phone (e.g. when walking or cycling). They seem to be mapping-related apps such as Google Navigation, Google Maps, OpenSignalMaps and so on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyhow, out of the box, whenever he opened something that could have a landscape orientation - web browser, menus, etc - the screen would automatically turn to that orientation and he would have to turn his phone to use it, ie, no matter how he held it, it would *always* change to landscape.Going into the display settings and turning off "Auto-rotate" screen keeps the screen in portait mode, but then lansdcape doesn't work at all.We did a power off and battery removal and now the phone always stays in portrait mode irresepective of what the display setting is set to.
The odd thing is, the NFS game that comes on it plays perfectly?!Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and managed to fix it without having to return the phone? (it came from Amazon, so it's not as simple as walking into a store and swapping it)
I have an unusual issue I would like some assistance on since I just got a blackberry, I have the Curve 2 8530. I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
I have try to open some games
It show me this error: This screen orientation is not supported by California gold rush. Please adjust your screen position to continue.
My phone has no problems recording video and the auto rotate function seems to work fine as well. However, if I take a video in portrait mode on my phone, transfer it to my windows 7 computer and play it, it plays in landscape mode (sideways). I've tried VLC player and windows media player and they both play portrait taken videos in landscape.

Currently when i use the HDMI cable the screen turns such that the cable goes in from the bottom which if the XOOM is on my lap is awkward. It would bebetter if the HDMI port was at the top.
I have a Nexus 5, Lollipop 5.1.1. Build LMY48B. Today suddenly the Menu orientation of my phone changed to Vertical one with a scroll bar on right side and the "Search App" bar at the top.
Earlier it was a normal left-right swipe menu. Now it is a vertical up/down scrolling menu. I don't know how it changed. There was no software update or anything. And is there a setting to switch back to the original left/right swipe.
Someone sent me a photo. How ever they took it its not the correct orientation.I know I can zoom rotate and all of that, but I would like to save it in the correct orientation.Seems like there is not option for that on the Storm2.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am not sure if Moto is aware of the bug introduced in .173. Ever since the OTA a few months back the orientation/rotation sensor randomly stops working. I haven't been able to track it down to any particular app, but instead have a feeling that it's caused by any app that forces a horizontal orientation. I don't want to limit it to just that though, but basically after this bug is triggered, tilting the phone manually into horizontal orientation doesn't rotate the screen and any games/apps that use the tilt sensor stop responding to it completely. I launched Elixir tools while this issue was occurring and in the Sensor section of the app the two sensors that deal with orientation, the orientation and the rotation vector sensors are jumping all over the place. A reboot fixes this for a few days or possibly until i launch an app that triggers this bug and then it's the same thing all over again.
