Since downloading my iphone4 with new updates about 2 months ago I have not been able to sign into my app store. It is either saying my password is incorrect or "an unknown error has occurred". I have reset my appleID password so many times yet still having this problem. I have tried turning my phone off and on again etc.

Anyone have similar experience? I preordered 2 16GB Blacks on @ 5:15am yesterday. I received email confirmation on both Apple IDs I used, however, my store (Oak Brook, IL) does not show my reservation on the main website, but does confirm my reservation on the iPhone App? Is this sufficient backup to secure my phone on the 24th?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.
Am I screwed out of my money? Here is a screenshot of what the charges were made for (there is another $49.99 charge that is not showing up here, but appears in my PayPal account history):

The only problem is when I open the app store, then click an app, instead of the download page loading I get the attached screen shot. Anyone else seen it? It only happens when I'm connected over 3g, wifi is completely fine. I've been in to the 3 store and they said it's probably an Apple problem, whereas Apple think it's a 3 problem.

Last night I was downloading some apps off the app store with no problem at all. Now, about 15 hours later every time I try to download something a pop-up says "cannot connect to iTunes store". i've tried all the guide you gave me, but i still can't download normally.searched all over google and finally i use apple support (there will be no other better place to ask) first, yes the problem is in this iphone 4, my brother's ipod download using my apple Id without problem.this flaw started probably after two condition,1. i used a public wifi when i'm at restaurant (never used other wifi, usually use private wifi at home)2. i downloaded an free app named "Chicken Revolution", after the progress bar complete, the status is "Installing" and takes too long to complete, so i reboot the phone using "slide to power off", after that i got 4 problem whenever i try to install free app. whenever i download free apps from app store, the app status is "Waiting" and never complete. didn't touch the phone until morning, app gone)same case as number 1 but the app icon is grayed out (cannot delete it)3. if app status became Loading, downloading successful, but stuck at Installing (progress bar full)4. same case as number 3 but this time the download complete successfully, but the progress bar is still there and if i tap on it once, the progress bar goes empty and status become "Loading", yes it redownload and reinstall (and keep repeating like this) i've tried both iphone reset, close all application, turn on and off wifi, download another app, nothing works.the only way is to download from itunes, yet that mean my iphone really had flaw.i wonder if there's an app or something still downloading or paused but invisible from menu.

It's been a week now that my iPhone keeps asking for my password every time I launch an app. It doesn't happen with every app. But it happens with most. I get a prompt screen asking for my password. It also happens whenever I reboot the phone. I get the unlock prompt then this one pops out and slows things down. It's becoming a little unusable now. My iPhone is also becoming less responsive - taking way too long when I hit the home button - if at all. I have done a few hard reboots, to no avail. I am not sure what I should do now.I am using an iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.
