Mar 20, 2012i've tried all the guide you gave me, but i still can't download normally.searched all over google and finally i use apple support (there will be no other better place to ask) first, yes the problem is in this iphone 4, my brother's ipod download using my apple Id without problem.this flaw started probably after two condition,1. i used a public wifi when i'm at restaurant (never used other wifi, usually use private wifi at home)2. i downloaded an free app named "Chicken Revolution", after the progress bar complete, the status is "Installing" and takes too long to complete, so i reboot the phone using "slide to power off", after that i got 4 problem whenever i try to install free app. whenever i download free apps from app store, the app status is "Waiting" and never complete. didn't touch the phone until morning, app gone)same case as number 1 but the app icon is grayed out (cannot delete it)3. if app status became Loading, downloading successful, but stuck at Installing (progress bar full)4. same case as number 3 but this time the download complete successfully, but the progress bar is still there and if i tap on it once, the progress bar goes empty and status become "Loading", yes it redownload and reinstall (and keep repeating like this) i've tried both iphone reset, close all application, turn on and off wifi, download another app, nothing works.the only way is to download from itunes, yet that mean my iphone really had flaw.i wonder if there's an app or something still downloading or paused but invisible from menu.

Aug 15, 2010I'm on a jailbroken iphone 4 and I just realized I cannot download apps from App Store. What happens is when I hit install, the app store closes immediately and nothing happens. I can update my apps but I cannot download new apps. I am currently using the categories cydia app, anyone have any issues with categories and downloading apps in app store?

Mar 20, 2012I have an iphone 4s. Recently, it stopped working with the app store and itunes. When I try to download a new app or update an existing app, all I get is the message "waiting..." below the app. This will go on indefinitely. When I try to download a new song or podcast, it says it is downloading but it doesn't. I have tried signing out from my itunes account and signing back in, closing all apps in multitasking, and restarting my iphone. Nothing seems to fix the problem. I can still connect it to my Macbook and update / add apps and songs / podcasts that way, but it is inconvenent. I would rather be able to do these things as I should be able to... straight from my phone.

May 20, 2012I try to download a free game named "motoheroz" from app store with my iphone, but it doens't work properly. My phone screen is blocked with a message: "download of motoheroz will start". Several hours after the dowload doesn't start and "OK" button doesn't work. I can't download another apps and app store is blocked in this screen. How can I do to correct it?

Jun 25, 2012Since Saturday 23rd June 2012 the iOS Appstore download buttons don't work anymore. When trying to download an app, after I press the "free" button, the "install" button moves to the side, is rearranged oddly and won't work. I saw where someone suggested just syncing the iPhone with the computer and downloading from there, but I don't consider that as a solution, but only an ugly "patch" to solve a bug that Apple introduced last weekend when they updated the Appstore. Anyone more suffering these issues? Which device and iOS version are you using? For you information, many users suffered this kind of problems 6 months ago and after many compaints from us, they fixed it!,... and now Apple did it again?

IPhone :: IOS 3.13 Unable To Download New Apps From App Store
Jun 26, 2012There appears to be a issue again using iOS 3.1.3 which I have on my original 2G Iphone trying to download new apps from the Appstore.
Just to be clear, iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version that can be installed and be supported on the original Iphone 2G (can't update the iOS to a later version).
If you try to download/install a new app from the App Store using iOS 3.1.3 and click on the install button, it turns green and does not do anything. If you have an existing app using iOS 3.13 and there is a update for the app, then the install might download. This isn't a problem with the device needing to be restored, it is a problem with a some change Apple did on their end to the AppStore thats not compatible with iOS3.1.3.
This happened before back in Dec 2011 and it took a few weeks to get Apple to admitt it was their problem and install a fix at their end for the App Store for iOS 3.13. The Apple support people kept on telling everyone to try to restore your device which was a waste of time.

Mar 21, 2012Since I updated to 5.1 on my iPhone 3Gs, I keep getting problems with the updated OS. I can't download apps, music or books from the iTunes store, it's very hit and miss. It is pointless having a pin upon wake up of the phone as all you have to do to get past the pin is by swiping the camera button up to by-pass it. The battery life has dramatically dropped from lasting a couple of days with everyday use to around 9 hours. The signal from the network has dropped from 3 bars on 3G to 4 bars on GPRS, and finally apps keep crashing and exit themselves to the home screen.
I have rang my network (O2UK) and they have said that they have had serveral reports of Apple products having these bugs since the release of 5.1, and saying that nothing has changed in terms of te settings and masts near me, but they advised me to check my network settings and if they are different from what O2's website said (they were the same). So why are there so many bugs with 5.1? I can't download any apps at all and my battery is worse?
