It works with my email, but not my phone number, which is what most people have. Is there a way to verify phone number when the phone data is turned off? Or can I only receive via my email address until I am back in the US

IPhone 5 :: Error 14 / Suddenly Turned Off And Cannot Be Turned On
Jun 3, 2014My IPhone 5 suddenly turned off and can not be turned on.
It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.

Before yesterday iMessage worked well between our iPhones.But since my friend updated to iOS 5.1 as well, iMessage does not work anymore between our two iPhones.iMessage works well with all other adresses we both use as well. But only our two iPhones cannot use iMessage anymore.

Apr 7, 2012i have noticed that after switching to ios 5.1 my phone has been acting funny. for example: when i am messaging other iphone users with iMessage, it keeps switching from iMessage to regular text every 2 or 3 messages. at first i thought it was the other person since i am normally within my works wifi network and at my home wifi network, but it seems that this problem only occurs to other people when imessaging with me and not with anyone else. and this problem occurs to me while imessaging everyone, so i have come to the conclusion that the problem must be my phone. i have noticed this problem to occur since updating to ios 5.1. has anyone else experienced this problem? what can i do? i am 2 steps shy of reinstalling my phone.

Just now I turned off noise suppression and turned on call clarity enhancement.However, it occurs to me that since I have another LG G4 on my account and also a samsung, I should do some comparisons between the phones to make sure it's not my phone.

I tried both with the USB cable plugged in and not plugged in, it will also go in DFU but that's that.All it does is show the apple logo w/ black screen for a few seconds and then die again.Again, it has been working just fine prior to this. What would the problem be, any suggestions?I am not able to restore it at this time as I am not currently at home.

Aug 12, 2010I've always had a habit of turning off 3G whenever I'm not using any type of data. Is anyone else pretty OCD about this like I am? I charge my phone (iP4) every night with plenty of battery left and I'm starting to think I might finally get away from toggling it off. Battery problems were the real reason I started doing it to begin with back on my 3GS.
Also, do you find 3G sounds better for call quality than Edge? It seems like my phones have been so temperamental when active on 3G versus Edge. I'll probably just spend a week on 3G and see if I notice any major differences.

Apr 18, 2012I just got a new iphone 4s last monday 4-9-12 after my previous one bounced into a pool. Now this morning my alarms woke me up, i cleared my emails, checked facebook, put it to sleep and went to get ready for work. 10 minutes later nothing will turn the phone back on. Tried plugging it into computer, wall, car charger. Have tried at least 30 times with the holding home and sleep simultaneously. both plugged in and not plugged in. phone had 100% battery before it died. but even so i've left it plugged into the computer for an hour, and the wall for an hour and tried again. also tried to pull up itunes and it wont register the phone. tried different usb cords hoping it would be a problem with the cord. nothing works. tried holding home while plugging into computer. The closest apple store is over an hour away and not really wanting to make the trip if I don't have to, but being without your phone?

Apr 26, 2012Just to explain the situation, my iphone randomly turned off a couple of months ago and was stuck in recovery mode somehow and none of the computers I used could restore it.I sent it off to be fixed via insurance and it came back seemingly fine but a little after that it would just randomally switch off and not turn back on unless I connected it to a power supply or hard reset it.A couple of days ago it turned off anytime I tried to access an app I'd repeatedly opened previously and then it would't switch on or respond to anything.I put it in DFU mode and restored it although errors 21, 1611 and 3194 came up a couple of times, it eventually got restored but now it's just stuck with the logo flashing at me every other second as if it's about to turn on but then suddenly stops.
Also puttin the phone in DFU mode was the only way to get itunes to detect it.
