May 24, 2012I have synced the music from my PC's itunes library to my iphone. When I try to do the same with the apps I get a warning that the statistics in the apps/games on my phone will be lost. Can I sync my apps without losing my statistics/levels off of the phone?

Sep 12, 2010If I fill out the address and birthday fields on the web site contacts page. Sync to my phone fails. If I fill out the address field on my phone, then it doesn't complete the relevent fields on the web site. The address fields on the web site are different to the phone and fields on the site are not supported by the phone's address book.
It seems like the two are running different software and are slightly incompatible

When I sync my iphone with the new mac for music, it said my iphone is synced with another itunes library and I have to erase the iphone content in order to sync with the new library. If I select erase and sync, does it erase everything, or just the music portion? I want to keep all my apps but just sync music, is there a way to do this?
Also, my iphone has all my contacts and my mac has none. So, if I check the sync box for contacts, does my contacts transfer from my iphone to the mac, or do they transfer from the mac to the iphone (which means it erase all my contacts in the iphone)? Obviously, I want to transfer my contacts in my iphone to the mac, how should I do that?

May 8, 2012 I connected my iPhone with pc and synced it to the new desktop. Everything syncs but my music. All my purchased mucic syncs but not my own CDs. I've now loaded all my CDs onto the new desktop, created the playlists, etc. I connected my iPhone again and made sure the computer is authorized and clicked on the image of my iPhone on the left side of the screen. I then clicked on Sync entire music library and clicked on Apply. But my music still will not sync. What do I need to do?

Apr 14, 2010So, the other day my mother accidentally erased all of her events in iCal on her Mac. She still had them all on her iPhone, so she tried to sync it with her Mac to undo the deletions. But it did the opposite; all of her events were lost on her phone. Luckily, I was able to restore her back-up onto her iPhone. So I need to know if there is a way to sync the events (one-way) from the phone onto the Mac.

May 14, 2010My phone was slowing down, so i restored it and chose the wrong backup (i did not see the backup that was made today). I option+clicked the restore button to point it to the backup that was made today, but when i go to the "/Users/username/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/backup" folder there are no clickable files to select. Am I looking in the right place? How do I restore from that most recent backup? I would like to do it without having to completely restore my phone again.

Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

Sep 1, 2010Seems that they closed whatever they were using to allow syncing by wifi.The device shows its "Ready to Sync" and the status bar on top shows its connected but the phone never shows up in iTunes.I am sure it's nothing more than a software update, but if you use it religiously, you might want to hold off.
