I have an iphone 3GS thought I would have a play with the spen read text which anything you click on is read with a double click but I don't know how to get back into setting as I cannot scroll down to select the item to turn it off.

I have checked and language strings are set to English US for voice output.
Phone updated to Android 5 and now no spoken street names. Updates installed and uninstalled back to base version. Very frustrating as this is the base version that Sony provide.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an original Jawbone with an Iphone 3gs with the latest firmware. As far as I can remember, this has always been the case since I got the Iphone, I cannot turn off the Jawbone while on a call. With my last phone (a MAXX VE on vxw), I could just hold down the button on the Jawbone for 3 seconds, the Jawbone would turn off and I could continue talking using the phone.
Now that I have the Iphone, holding that button down does nothing while I'm on a call. I, of course, can switch between the phone and the Jawbone, but I can't turn off the Jawbone unless I go to settings on the Iphone to disable bluetooth.
So my question is: Is there a way to power down the original Jawbone in the middle of a call on an Iphone
Why is my wi fi option greyed out?? I cannot activate my settings to turn on Wifi..

I get in there and the slider is up all the way and there is no switch but a button "Lock Volume Limit". I have no locks on this phone. My IPhone 5c stopped alerting me to text messages. I have gone into settings, went to sounds, scrolled down to messages & selected an alert tone. IPhone will only vibrate on texts, volume is turned up. It stopped ringing for phone calls too and will only vibrate.  It is super armored with an Otterbox and has not been dropped or broken.Â
I turned off vibrate. I have even went to Settings General and Reset the Phone totally.Â
Volume is turned up. Text and Ringtone for Calls was set in settings. It plays them fine when I choose them.Â
I have no more updates available for the phone   Update is current OS 7.1.2

If there was not any other "fix" or "upgrade" I would still be thrilled with just this one. Luckily the phone just runs so much smoother, faster, and less "buggy" as well.The only thing that gets me is why my phone is at 1.0Ghz and my wifes is at 1.2Ghz. They were bought at the same time from AT&T in the USA, have the same apps, have tried resets on both since discovering this, have the same processors, serial #'s are nearly identical except for 2 numbers.

I just bought this phone yesterday and I am already unsure if I made the right decision. The phone has only 70 something MB memory, of which 28 or such is taken up b the apps. There only 50+ plus mem left. There aren't any sounds or images preinstalled in this phone (not a single one).
Now this Voice Command thing is preventing me from listening to music. At first, whenever I switched the radio on, it asked me to activate the Voice command feature. Now when I selected it, it keeps on displying "Speak Now" every 4 seconds, interrupting the whole music. I try to speak commands like radio, but it doesn't work.Can someone guide me? I am getting frustrated by this frequent disturbance, everytime I switch on the radio.

I just upgraded from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6. I restored all my settings. I have version 8.1.1 installed. When I am typing a text out, the phone is speaking it back to me. I do not want that turned on so I can text in silence. I am not referring to speaking and then having the phone relay what I am speaking into a text. How do I stop the phone from speaking what I am texting to someone?
