Is it possible to turn off Skype beeping sound whenever a message is being sent over? It gets quite annoying to keep hearing the beeping sound whenever I enter a message to send. I don't mind hearing the beep if I receive a message though.

I want to disable only the beeping sound when you plug it in to charge. I don't want to turn the volume down or sounds entirely off because I use alarms in other non iOS apps which are too soft if I simply adjust the overall sound effects levels (so please don't bother to recommend that). I just don't like that one noise, sounds like a squeal of pain and is unnecessarily loud.

These are not system sounds or calendar alerts, they sound a little bit like feedback or R2D2 sounds. They come and go but sometimes they are totally annoying. I have asked the people I'm talking to whether or not they can hear the sounds, and they have reported that they can not. I called Verizon and they said they had never heard of this problem before.Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything that can be done about it?

For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.

When using a wired headset there is no issue like this. nor do I have the issue when i do regular phone calls using the sets

View 4 Replies View Relatedfor some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I just got this phone two days ago and I've noticed that when I'm in a call on Skype or Hangouts that the incoming audio gets muted every time I speak or when on medium to low volumes. It's become really bothersome because I can't tell whether I'm in call anymore unless the other person speaks. Is there any way to turn this off? The noise suppression and voice clarity options have no affect on this at all. I'm using headphones when in call. Also I should note that this doesn't happen on my old broken phone so it must be something to do with the G4.

I would like my iPhone NOT to beep when I get a new email. I don't use the Mail app, and the Mail app is disabled in the Notifications menu.I do NOT want to disable ALL notifications, and I need my phone to be able to send emails from Camera and other apps, so I don't want to disconnect email. I just want it to stop notifying me of every single new email.If it matters, I use gmail and access my mail with Safari, not the Mail app. To reiterate, I have already excluded the Mail app from my Notifications center.

When I plugged it in to charge, it started beeping as if i were constantly unplugging it then plugging it back in. At first the screen would light up even though it was black but now the screen wont light up at all. I ordered a new screen to replace it but now I am thinking that it is more than the screen.
