View 3 RepliesI have multiple iphones and I touches and they are all sharing contacts and music with each other. I know there is a simple way to fix this but I cant figure it out. Must we all get separate iTunes accounts and icloud accounts?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two iPhone mine and my sons, we both have iTunes account ID's on the same pc. so how do i keep my iPhone separate from his apps, music, podcasts, when i sync. he has different styles in music and stuff. so when i hook up my iphone and sign ito itunes i see all of his apps he has a lot more than i do. I thought that having a different log in id's meant that if i sign into itunes with my id that itunes would only show the apps and music that i have used or downloaded to itunes. but the last time i did this it had all of the apps and podcasts that my son downloaded even though it was my ID. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two separate email accounts that use the same outgoing server -- mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com. I can seemingly use only one to send emails (receiving mail is not a problem), because whichever user name and password I input under the outgoing mail server settings automatically transfers to the other account's settings, rendering one useless for sending mail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI love how the 920 and 1020 would let me link certain email accounts and relabel them. I linked my two personal accounts (G mail and Outlook) and renamed them as "personal email", then I kept my work email as a separate account. I could pin them as two different live tiles on the start page. It was great. So far, I have not been able to do this with the 950. Is this a "lost feature"?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a new Blackberry Torch 9800 that was issued to me by my company. Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.
I have a lumis 1020, I have 3 email accounts, gmail, outlook and live. When i was on w8.1 i had 3 seperate tiles for email. now I have upgraded to w10, I only have one tile and have to manually switch accounts.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two iPhone 4 handsets. One is for work and one is my private number. Currently I am using the same Apple ID on both phones, as I want to use the apps I've purchased on both devices and get my contacts from iCloud.
As I usually bring both handsets with me, it is annoying to receive the same iMessage to both phones. Is there anyway to create two separate "iMessage accounts" such that I can use iMessage on both phones, but messages sent to my work phone will only be received on my work phone, and similarly, the iMessages sent to my private phone will only be received on my private phone?

I have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

I like the new integrated mailboxes feature. However, will I be able to set up separate mail icons on the homescreen to jump to the specific e-mail account? For example, I can have a mail icon for my gmail, one for my mobileme, and one for my exchange account all separate on the home screen for a total of three (same mail icon but different subtext per which account it is, for example).Based on what I've seen and read so far I think the answer is no. What I'm anticipating is I will have to open the one mail icon with all my accounts listed, then have to choose which one I go to from there. Not a terribly huge deal, as it is better than the current setup, but separate icons would be a nice feature have.

i have an iphone 4 and my boyfriend a 3gs, until recently we used seperate computers for sync but one broke so we have only 1 between us. We have sepeate Apple IDs and log in to our own each time we want to sync our phones, but we seem to end up with all the same content, ie apps music ect. We have to tick and untick stuff we want and dont. Also we purchase/download our own content from app store using our own ID's yet they too apper to sync to both devices..

I feel like this was a pretty popular request, and when we all saw the separate volume buttons, many said the same thing.finally we can hold the phone like a normal camera and not have to fiddle with touching the screen.Evidently not, seeing as nothing was mentioned of it in iOS4 or iPhone 4 keynotes, nor is it mentioned in feature overviews. Certainly not a deal breaker, just more of an annoyance. It's odd that Apple hasn't given us this feature without having to jailbreak, as I'd think the coding for it is very minimal.
