IPhone :: Syncing Two 4S On Separate ICloud Accounts With Single Computer
May 17, 2012
I have 2 iPhone 4's, 1 is my personal phone, the other is my business phone, I want 2 different iCloud accounts, but both syncing to 1 computer, just so I can keep my personal and business life separate.
I have multiple iphones and I touches and they are all sharing contacts and music with each other. I know there is a simple way to fix this but I cant figure it out. Must we all get separate iTunes accounts and icloud accounts?
I am in the process of moving to a new house and had to put my wife's computer in storage. Yesterday we had to replace her phone due to a bad headphone jack. I've been syncing her phone to my PC for several weeks now. When I started doing this it wiped her music and movies, but that was fine because they were all in my iTunes anyway. However, after replacing her iphone, I can't get her apps back on her phone.
Can I sync my iphone to the computer after I have synced with iCloud? There are some deleted text messages we are trying to recover, and I need to backup and sync to the computer to retrieve the file from what I have found. Can I then sync back to the backup in iCloud?
I need to back up and sync multiple iPhones to a single iMac. Each iPhone has a separate Apple ID and the data from each iPhone needs to be backed up separately from the others. How can I do this without getting all of the contacts, etc. mixed?
I have two iPhone mine and my sons, we both have iTunes account ID's on the same pc. so how do i keep my iPhone separate from his apps, music, podcasts, when i sync. he has different styles in music and stuff. so when i hook up my iphone and sign ito itunes i see all of his apps he has a lot more than i do. I thought that having a different log in id's meant that if i sign into itunes with my id that itunes would only show the apps and music that i have used or downloaded to itunes. but the last time i did this it had all of the apps and podcasts that my son downloaded even though it was my ID. I have two separate email accounts that use the same outgoing server -- mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com. I can seemingly use only one to send emails (receiving mail is not a problem), because whichever user name and password I input under the outgoing mail server settings automatically transfers to the other account's settings, rendering one useless for sending mail.
I got the S6E after 5 years on iPhone, so far so good.My work is on corporate GMAIL and I have a personal account. Any way to create a separate icon for each?
Photos I take with my iPhone 4S appear in iPhoto on my iMac; however there are two of each photo. In other words, iPhoto on the computer is duplicating every single photo shot on the iPhone.
I think it is a syncing issue with iCloud and iTunes also syncing at the same time?
I have 4 individual email accounts on my blackberry bold 9650, all 4 accounts show up under one email Icon on the phone, they used to be under separate icons, before I changed batteries. How can I get three mails under separate icons.
I love how the 920 and 1020 would let me link certain email accounts and relabel them. I linked my two personal accounts (G mail and Outlook) and renamed them as "personal email", then I kept my work email as a separate account. I could pin them as two different live tiles on the start page. It was great. So far, I have not been able to do this with the 950. Is this a "lost feature"?
The situation is that my friend originally had a @me.com account before iCloud existed. This [URL]account is a work account setup by her employer especially for her. She has used and still uses this [URL] for her iCallendars and iDisk. [URL]But before iCloud was realease, she bought an iPhone which she then synced with her mac. And she had to create an Apple ID. So she created and apple ID with... [URL]She used this Apple ID to sync with her mac for itunes. How ever, iCal was still using the [URL] for her work. OK now, iCloud was realeased, and her Apple ID got moved up to iCloud. So her iCal on her iPhone is using the Apple ID callenders which have nothing.[URL] expired about a week ago and this @me.com account had to move up over to iCloud. So she now has 2 iCloud accounts! With no option to move [URL] to her current Apple ID.
I've got a new Blackberry Torch 9800 that was issued to me by my company. Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.
I have a lumis 1020, I have 3 email accounts, gmail, outlook and live. When i was on w8.1 i had 3 seperate tiles for email. now I have upgraded to w10, I only have one tile and have to manually switch accounts.
My friend gave me his old iphone with a free music app on it and it had some music on that app well I just got a iphone and was wandering how to get that music and app transferred to my iphone with the icloud accounts being different
I have two iPhone 4 handsets. One is for work and one is my private number. Currently I am using the same Apple ID on both phones, as I want to use the apps I've purchased on both devices and get my contacts from iCloud.
As I usually bring both handsets with me, it is annoying to receive the same iMessage to both phones. Is there anyway to create two separate "iMessage accounts" such that I can use iMessage on both phones, but messages sent to my work phone will only be received on my work phone, and similarly, the iMessages sent to my private phone will only be received on my private phone?
I have a business and a personal life that are both heavily influenced by my Apple products and all stay in sync via iCloud. My only issue is that in order to access both personal and business iwork documents on the go, I have to carry two iphones with me - which really is inconvenient. Of course I could just use the business iphone but then I would not be able to access my family photo stream which is very important to me.
i have problem here on iCloud using my iPhone when i log in it says "the maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPhone" how to fix this guys?
When I sync with my gmail calendar, the same event is showing up 100 times in the same time slot.I have tried clearing my google calendar, removing the email address from my phone and then reinstalling it.The event still comes back.I do not use the desktop manager.

I purchased the AT&T tethering plan which appears to provide a Wireless Hotspot capability, but my company won't allow individuals to have their own wi-fi networks at work, so I would like to learn how to tether my phone to my laptop so that it does not create a wi-fi network, but only provides Internet access to my laptop. Is this possible with the new Atrix 4G?
