May 12, 2012Changed my passcode lock from letters back to numbers. I know what numbers i picked for the lock but the phone won't let me in! Tried a number of combinations but none worked! Has it ever happened that an iPhone won't let you in with the correct passcode? Does it usually malfunction when you switch back to numbers? And most importantly - is the only solutioin to reset the phone???

Jun 15, 2012I have two iPhone mine and my sons, we both have iTunes account ID's on the same pc. so how do i keep my iPhone separate from his apps, music, podcasts, when i sync. he has different styles in music and stuff. so when i hook up my iphone and sign ito itunes i see all of his apps he has a lot more than i do. I thought that having a different log in id's meant that if i sign into itunes with my id that itunes would only show the apps and music that i have used or downloaded to itunes. but the last time i did this it had all of the apps and podcasts that my son downloaded even though it was my ID. Jun 7, 2010I like the new integrated mailboxes feature.However,will I be able to set up separate mail icons on the homescreen to jump to the specific e-mail account? For example, I can have a mail icon for my gmail, one for my mobileme, and one for my exchange account all separate on the home screen for a total of three (same mail icon but different subtext per which account it is, for example).Based on what I've seen and read so far I think the answer is no. What I'm anticipating is I will have to open the one mail icon with all my accounts listed, then have to choose which one I go to from there. Not a terribly huge deal, as it is better than the current setup, but separate icons would be a nice feature have.

Jul 6, 2010I read on the front page how others were having the proximity issue like I was and that if you did a reset of settings then it could fox it. So I went ahead and did that. I went in and started changing all my settings back and I realized that the only option I had for my passcode was to require it immediately and not after 5 min like I usually do. I've done some searching and saw that a google or exchange account could cause this. But I only have mobile me.So that can't be it. The only other option I've seen is to do a complete restore.Whig I'd really like to stay away from. Does anyone have any ideas?

I didn't remember a passcode and thought if I did I'd make it something really simple like 0000 but, it wouldn't open it.
