My iphone 4s is not retrieving or sending emails from its homestead mail account. it was working fine until last night and now it just says server not responding. I contacted Homestead and they had me turn off use ssl on incoming and outgoing but that didnt sem to work. All my settings are right but it just isnt working.
Have noticed recently that my Mail is not pushing properly. I just opened my email and I newly received 2 emails from 8:50 over two hours ago. I have been using the phone off and on during this time, in fact about 10 mins in the App store for 10 mins prior surfing around.
Have it setup to my yahoo account, but it only refreshes when I actively open my mail. What am I missing here?
I have Verizon, and I click the Phone on the home page, then voicemail, then did all the steps, once I got to saving it, it said "Voicemail Unavailable, Unable to intiate connection." It's irritating me haha.I even went to Setting then Reset then reseted Network Settings and it's still saying it
Updated fine but won't refresh email. Have to restart the phone to get new emails to load. Restore does not fix it. I don't do fetch, is that the issue? I just manually check as needed.
I just upgraded my Iphone 3gs to OS 5.1 now my Safari and Mail apps won't work? Safari opens for about 2 seconds to blank white screen and shuts down - Mail opens for 5 seconds with blank white screen and shuts down.
I am unable to listen to new voicemail messages unless I first delete it and then go to "Deleted Messages" and then hit the play button to listen to it. I called my Sprint support line and they claimed they fixed it but they are sadly mistaken. I have the 4s at s/w release iOS 5.1
i have a serious problems with the push mail of yahoo.
the push not working The problem lasts since 2 or 3 weeks I have everything tries Reset the e-mail parameters of yahoo reset parameters of network... i have a icloud mail and alls is good with icloud
My exchange email worked just find with previous OS, not with both my Iphone and Itouch 3rd Gen Exchange email does not show anything other than folders, i have tried deleting account and re adding and restoring new phone or itouch factory settings with no luck. any idea's?
I'm not receiving any push notifications for Yahoo mail today. I've tried two different accounts with the same results. Push notifications for other apps work fine.
So strange but ~2 weeks ago on my iPhone 4S stop working iCloud (@me.com) email push notifications. When I open Mail program it's start receiving all the mail. I checked all the settings and there is Push notifications turned on!
everything has been fine until today. I tried to upload and send a photo from an app, but while attaching to a mail i decided to cancel it. Since then for some reason now my iphone is unable to update the mail app with my google mail. I tried deleting the account, restartng the phone, and entering all my details in again. but everytime i get the same error about cannot contact imap server or something.
I'm gonna try to be clear with my problem. I have a Gmail Account working on Microsoft Exchange, for IM messaging I'm using Beejive IM with Push and I'm also using Whatsapp. Before Updating it to iOS 5.1.1 all Push notifications were working flawless, however, after I upgraded it to 5.1.1, I began having troubles. After 1 minute of having the Iphone locked, I don't get any push notification, nor on the email, nor on the Whatsapp, neither on the Beejive. If I unlock it and I re-open one of them, for ex, I go to check my contact list on Beejive, I get all the mails, and all the instant msgs that people had sent to me after I locked my iPhone; it's like, my iPhone was locked for 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes people sent me 4 msgs on whatsapp, 4 msgs on beejive and 4 mails. Once I unlock my iPhone and I go to one of the 3 apps (mail, whatsapp or beejive), I get the 12 items (4 msg from whatsapp, 4 msgs from beejive and 4 mails) at that exactly time. It's crazy, it's like, with this new update push notifications got disabled for every app or what happened to my iPhone on this upgrade? I really need help. WIthout Push, none of them apps works cool for me. I'm using Iphone 4 on a 3G network. I tried restoring it x3, I unistalled the apps, mail, etc and nothing worked.
I have a problem with email for my nokia C5-03. If I go to MENU>APPLICATION>SETTING WIZARD>EMAIL SETUP then the device ask me to acces to the network and i confirm it. After that i see "Test network connections" and it`s loading.

If I tried to access my messages from the app icon a similar message would pop up (I told HTC every time) I started using the messages widget which worked and finally the problem stopped altogether.
My voicemail isnt working when I go to it the message pops up and says "unable to initiate connection". Ive tried resetting the network and a bunch of other stuff but its still not working.
Just got the nokia 920, added my hotmail, yahoo and google email accounts, it worked for a day, but now the email application keeps crashing. Either the accounts are constantly trying to sync or everytime i click an email message it crashes and goes to the phones home page. I have tried rebooting the phone but that didnt make any difference.
I got a Nokia Lumia 900 and I can't connect to my Yahoo Mail service.I go to Settings>email+accounts>add a new account>Yahoo! Mail...then I input my email address and password, press sign in and I get the following error message...'We couldn't find the settings for the account information you entered. I recently had problems with my phone and had to restore it using a full handheld wipe. I reloaded ny data and all is well except that I cannot get my phone to give me a tone or a vibrate when I receive an email. I have the out of holster and the in holster settings set to vibrate+tone, high, 3 but it still will not give me any audio or vibrate alert just mail icon pops up so I can only tell if I look at the phone if I have new email.
I recently went on vacation and had my phone turned off for a week. When I returned, I found that the email on my BB is no longer synched with the computer. If I check a message on the BB and mark it as read, then it is okay on the computer. But, if I open a message on the computer, it is still listed as unread on the BB. How can I fix this?
I can't access my visual voice mail application and have to actually call my voice mail in order to get my messages. I just replaced the phone after having the old one "reset" at a Sprint store. The problem was rectified for a while then returned. I just got a new phone and after a few days, I'm having the same problem.
Even though I've seen information about how to get Mail working with AOL, I'm still being challenged to find the correct info to insert into the fields as enumerated by Exchange Activesync on the 808.what to enter for all the fields as named in Exchnage Activesync, such as "server" and "domain name" and port number. This gets really confusing: Is the domain name an incomingt server or outgoing server, or something else entirely? Is the "Server" field for incoming or outgoing server? Is the "Port number" in advanced settings for the incoming or outgoing port?
I recently got a blackberry curve 8520 contracted with virgin media, with my package I get free BBM/ email services free. However both services haven't worked in 4 weeks. I cannot connect to any servers and error code (65), whatever it means, pops up every time I try to log into Windows Live Messenger. I have re-sent registration messages, as instructed by the troubleshooting manual, which have been successful each time.
