Oct 23, 2011I have a problem with text messages - when someone sends me a message in Russian, I get blank "highlighted" lines instead of the letters. I can see commas and smileys but not the actual text.When I go to language setup, Russian is not listed. I have tried "Automatic" and "English" with the same results.I have done a master reset, same behavior.The thing is, I LOVE the V551 phone. I also have an iPhone I use for business, photos, music, etc., but the V551 is my 2nd personal phone and I've used one since 2003. I love it so much, I recently found a brand new one for sale on eBay and ordered it. This is the one where I am having this problem - the brand new "old" Motorola V551.

Sep 7, 2014I'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

Aug 16, 2011Got the app error 528 with reset hilighted. Have taken battery out a number of times and still get the app error. Vodafone say it's a replacement phone...and I will prob have lost all my data!

I hit power button keyboards and 2 touch screen keys are highlighted but display stays blak. Only removing battery helps me. What does happen?I didn't find in manual how can I do forced reboot. I mean "press somrthing like Home and Power button together during 5 sec" and deveice will reboot automaticaly as a result. Because when I have a black screen I can't reboot device using usaul way.

Apr 7, 2010This is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc
