Apr 18, 2010I am currently reciving two messages in the message folder when I get one email. They are duplicates of the same email such as I get one email from old navy and it shows up in my email box as one email then I go to the message box and it shows two.

Apr 18, 2010I am currently reciving two notifications in my "messages" folder when reciving one email.I get one email from Old Navy in my gmail or my me email and in the email folder it shows one. When I look in the "messages" section there are two.
When I delete the duplicate message notifcation it just says "delete" and the first one notifcation it says "on mailbox & handheld" or "on handheld"
Galaxy S6 :: Sending Duplicate Messages
Sep 11, 2015So I've had my s6 since April when it came out. I'm on virgin mobile in Canada. 3 days ago it started telling me my messages have failed to send and sometimes I'd get the 'service currently not available will resend when network becomes available'. But the thing is when I would get those messages the texts were actually going through and the phone would send duplicates of these messages without my input. Now it's sending duplicates regardless if I get those failed message notifications. I've factory reset the phone twice. I've hooked it up to the computer to see what's going on and to see if there is an update. Both the computer and the auto update option say I'm up to date. Phone is not rooted. Running Android 5.0.1. I've called tech assist and I've replaced the sim card.

Apr 16, 2015I just got the galaxy s5..I am receiving some duplicate text messages, I cannot figure out why! Not every single message comes through twice, just some of them. Also some of my sent ones are showing up twice on my phone (not twice to the recipient though). I have tried to search online and cannot come up with a resolution.

May 31, 2010I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 on the 3 Mobile network. I only have one email account setup, and it is a Gmail account. I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.
BB Bold :: Stop Duplicate Copies Of Email Sent?
Sep 25, 2012Whenever I read, or reply emails in Outlook 2010 on my laptop/pc, a copy of that same email gets sent to my handheld again (ending up with 2 copies of same email).
how I can stop this from happening? It's a pain to read or reply to 5 emails and then have the same 5 emails sent to my handheld. If I read them on my 9900, delete or reply to them, no duplicate is sent again.

Feb 8, 2012Just upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.:
I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>

I set up a second email account and synched all my contacts not thinking that the handset would show them all twice. I found that you could show only one set but i had to go into options and do this every time i wanted to display only one set of contacts on the device. In the end this drove me nuts and i've since deleted one email account as it is rarely used for anything other than purchasing things over the internet. I thought that this would resolve the issue and the deleted account disappeared as you would expect but there is a hangover in the contacts lists where it still shows both sets of contacts and i can see the old gmail account is still there. I've rebooted the device and been through all the menus and the only place this old email account exists is in the contacts folder.
Ideally i would like both accounts on the handset and for it to only display one set of contacts from one account at any time while still synching both email accounts when any changes are made on the handset.

Jan 20, 2010I have an email account on my Blackberry. It is also hooked up via Entourage on my Mac (same thing as Outlook). When I check an email on my Blackberry, it is marked as read, obviously. But when I click on that email again in Entourage is re-sends the email to my device. This has always happened, I've gotten over it. But now I am realizing that when I delete that duplicate email off the device by using "Delete off handheld", it deletes BOTH of the emails on the device! Have any of you seen this?

Apr 8, 2010I want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.

Apr 28, 2010I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons:
Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
